It's quite obvious from your public-o-log why Jane Austen was not available for the launch of your visitor center. When you also remember that Santa is only available on the 24th...I think you'll put 2 and 2 together. Poor old guy is probably thankful to step our for air once a year. Rumor has it that all of your little Pikes are out hanging itsy-bitsy Christmas stockings. We can't have them being disappointed, ruins the flavor later on you know. So, the cookies I baked for you for a present, I've smashed to smitherines. Going to put a crumb or two into each stocking. Hope they don't fight over them, otherwise WWE will be over there in a flash signing them up for the wrestling ring. Don't think that would help flavor later on, do you? I should be done by New Years, so save me some of that 'punch' you make...

I bet the Irish guy had a lovely tan, a firm handshake and an answer to everything....

Now the Christmas letter I get from a certain family member is so wonderful and warm and bubbly and chirpy cheerful, I expect to find that she won the million dollars on Wheel of Fortune. I'm always disappointed to find out that she only has perfect children, that prince charming still hasn't grown nose hair and that she gets out of bed every morning doing a happy dance.

wow Pikey well I usually detest those christmas letters that tell all about how bright tommy is and how many trophies the hubby won and how they went to See Aunt Amanda and Uncle tomfoolery and etc and so on. All those awards wow and the little pikes and the permits, more exciting than Tommy and Aunt Amanda for sure. I am so happy to announce that all round robin letters from the perfect twee families ceased when I upped sticks to Greece. The postage proved far to expensive for me to remain unimpressed.

We receive a whining annual pissandmoan letter from my husbands crazy aunt. She gives a listing of all of her ailments, followed by a list of her husbands prostate issues...

I tried to send some corn meal to your youngins, but the bottle I put it in must not have been sealed tightly, as it sank immediately on splashdown. Can't say I didn't TRY to be generous!

What an eventful year you have had! Never a dull moment, eh?

The only letter I get is from my ex-in-laws that details the happenings of the family which includes my ex and his current wife, my adult sons, and there is always something in there about me. I'm always glad to get that letter.

I've never minded the annual letters that some people send. I either enjoy their adventures or my own life looks so very much better after I've read it!

Hey P1key! Ahhh yes~ It has been quite a busy season for the
P1ke Family hasn't it! Gladto hear that you were able to re-hire
"Old Creaky" again! Felt really badly when you had to let him
go, especially being that he had been with you so long and was
so elderly by now! Don't know anything about the book thing, but
the again I have been missing a bit now and then this year! But,
I definitely remember the birth of all those "little P1kettes"!
OMG! I was one of the p1ketter sitters so how could I ever forget!
How is Auntie Goodie, by the way? Send her my love, will ya? She
doesn't hang around here anymore! I heard she only visits FB and
I am not a member nor do I wish to be! It sure has been a very
long year, hasn't it P1key? I miss some of our friends alot,
especially Rosekitty, Goodie, and alot of others who have turned
to FB! I wish they would come back here! I just feel that this

Your letter was ever so fun and intersting compared to anything I have ever received.

I only get one now and I will get to know what the pets are doing and what they got for their birthdays and what all my friend has done for the heritage group in her small town and other such wonderful things that I haven't a clue about.

The marriage is of course perfect as he is either upstairs and she down or the complete reverse.. I have never met him since he arrived when her parents died and left her the house the land the car and the money.

And I promise to bore you further if there is anything I have missed, since the card with inserted letter has not yet arrived from the new world.. They are somewhat behind us, you see.. in time .....

Oh yes..and your new friend..the Irish chap,, that o'Bama...and you said:" It has crossed my mind that his award was for peas..... He might be a farmer" wonderful and comic and brilliant and thankyou for the chuckle!!
