Have you finished all your crafts for Christmas?

Two brothers and my sister-n-law, I'm all done. My husband and one other brother are not quite done yet. Wish me luck. How about you? Are you all done for Christmas or do you have more to finish? Will you be staying up all Christmas Eve to finish? If I don't get going, I probably will.

It's a combination of two things. What can you do or do you like to do plus what do they need or like? Examples: Let's say you like to sew by hand or with a machine. You have relatives with arthritis. You sew up some neck or hand warmers with some rice they can microwave in them. Or you can glue and they like angels. Youtube has tons of videos of stuff you can hot glue together to make angels. Like an angel head or doll's head with pipecleaner halo onto a pinecone and then hot glue some wings. See? It's a combination of abilities or liking to do something with interests or needs of others. Then once you have that figured out, you search the internet for how to do the stuff. So basically a three step process to decide.

Yes, I've heard flax seeds, too. Rice works very well. My eye dr. recommended it for my eyes and then I started using it on my neck. Hope what I wrote helps you. Take care and happy crafting for next year!

Haha very true indeed it is also a matter of beeing creative. Im sure my mum would love to get a pouch with rice she can microwave to get some warmth on a cold winter day. Actually ive heard that you use dried wheat seeds for those pouches, but does rice also work with the same effect?

I didn't do any Christmas crafts this year. Just a little bit too lazy to really get started on any project. In previous years I can recall doing poinsetta coasters, etc. all year long. Also loads of santa and candycane crafts. Good luck with your projects.

They were fun to make but I have mega coasters in the house now. Needed to lay off for a year and work on something else so I continue to work on Sesame Street projects. They make great gifts for little ones.

I only had one craft that I was making for Christmas. It took me just about two weeks to finish. I just finished it Sunday. I did a watercolor portrait painting for a friend. It turned out really well.

Yay! I got all of my Christmas crafts done and even got them wrapped. I was beginning to wonder if I'd ever get that afghan finished lol. Every time I sat down to crochet the cats would both start attacking it. Not surprising that cats are attracted to yarn, but these 2 cats are ancient and no longer are playful like that. I have to help my grandson finish up a couple crafts he started, but other than that, all mine are done!!
