I'm going to look into hypnosis to see if that helps me lose some weight.

I am getting very frustrated with my weight and it is getting harder to do things! I have been walking a few days a weeks but unless I go on a radical diet I am not going to be losing anyhting! My metabolism is screwed up and I'm not happy! I wish I could join a weight lose group like Weight Watchers but they are expensive and I can't afford them! If my health insurance will pay for it or some of it then I'll try hypnosis! I can't do this on my own and asking friends or relatives help is out of the question! I'm better off figureing out what to do on my on!

a bad diet does cause pimples and getting fat too.

I feel like if you're concerned about money matters, perhaps you should be looking into other options instead of hypnosis, which also costs money. My aunt had it done and at least for her, it didn't work. Weight Watchers didn't even work for her. Not to say that hypnosis won't work for you, but I've heard that in general.. that it's just not a long-term plan (likewise with Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig and all of those programs out there are a good way to lose quickly, but not maintain your goal weight. I think you could go to the library, perhaps, and try to find some self-hypnosis (or even self-help) books/tapes/cds that you could rent for free and try those (there are plenty of weight-loss books out there, that's for sure..). And yes.. Losing weight of course takes a lot of self discipline. But you could always take it one step at a time; perhaps start drinking a lot of water and cutting out sodas? I've heard this has worked for a lot of people in jump-starting their diet. So far I'm on my 3rd day of my "no soda, lots of water" diet.
.
Why is asking friends and family out of the question, by the way? These people are our support systems, why shut them out when we need help?
At any rate, good luck with your weight loss and good luck if you decide to do the hypnosis thing. Let us know how it goes, will you?

My family and friends as a support team? Are you kidding? That is a joke! My Family is to busy with their own lives to help me! Even if they could my sister is so opinionated she doesn't listen to reason! Friends,no way! I need help but not form people who would rather critize me then help me! I have to do it on my own or get help somewhere else! It is the only way!

Well continually making discussions about losing weight on your own isn't achieving anything, but still its good to hear that your friends and family also criticise you and not just the people on mylot. The advice that maezee has given you is well meaning but you know you won't take any notice of it all all. Ask yourself, what were you snacking on when you typed this up?

I have some of the same problems as you, I know how you feel! I have been trying hypnosis slong with a modest diet and it is amazing how much I am losing! Since December I have lost about 25 pounds! It is slowly working! The hypnosis actually does help me alot! I will definately recomend it to you because of my experience so far! Hope you try it out very soon because it will help alot!

I have not looked into it. I won't do unless my insurenc pays for all or most of it. Right now I have more inportant things to worry about. Like bills, money, stress,my jobs,my car,and other things. The older I get the easier I want and need life to be! I hope when i finally get into trying hypnosis it works for me and then I don't have to worry about my weight again! I've had it!

Dear Blue
You are walking in dangerous waters. Are you willing to give your mind to be controlled by others? By and large, you will slowly lose control of your own physic. My best advice is to go to a bookshop and buy a good and reliable weight book recommended by your family doctor and written by a doctor also. I defer to recommend any as its against MyLot's policy. If you could tell me more of your problem, maybe I could assist you. Until then, wish you best of luck for your weight loss efforts. OK? Thanks! Bro. Joe.

I don't look at hypnois like you do. I am at my wits end when it comes to my weight! No matter what I do I don't get anywhere! You have no idea how much of a struggle this has been for me and has been must of my life! Everybody thinks they know what I am going through and know how to solve the problem! I am so sick of this! Be in my shoes for a dang day and maybe you know why I want to do hypnois! I am going to go through with it in the coming month and no one is stopping me! This is my last resort and it is going to work!
