Have you ever met a celebrity?  

I've only met mini-celebrities. Local celebrities and "celebrities" in the sense of a few punk band members. Jorge and Jake from the Casualties, Lars Frederiksen from Rancid, Fat Mike from NOFX, and a few others. They aren't big time celebrities, but they're big in my book, anyway!

i have seen famous a couple of famous people but no one world famous.I have got Gary Lineker's autograph and have seen the bloke who played curly watts in coronation street eating a hot dog at a country musical festival.

I've been on the same plane as the Danish queen, but I can't really say I've met her. I've chased the horse of the Norwegian princess around the stable after it threw her off in a show jumping competition. Apart from that I've seen some politicians and apparantly we walked into Richard Lugner at the carnival party in the streets in Vienna, but most of use were to drunk to notice.

So not really any interesting celebreties yet :-/

Yup I sure have met a few celebrities in my lifetime, and maybe due to my being involved in the acting world. I was working on my high school newspaper and got the brainstorm to interview the different cast members of the then very popular Broadway musical Jesus Christ Superstar, and yes managed to hang out and meet them all including Ben Vereen who was just starting his career. I met Arlo Guthrie at a music festival in Central Park (in the 1970s)...Then at the Stratford Shakespeare Theatre met many of the cast members of the show that was being put on at the time, The Devil's Disciple, so met Sir Cyril Richard, Margaret Hamilton (she was the wicked witch in Wizard of Oz), David Selby (of Dark Shadows fame) and a then unknown James Cromwell. I also met Gloria Vanderbilt in one of her promotions for her clothes as the shopping mall near me. And I met Luciano Pavarotti at a book signing in Manhattan and took some photos of him....I have all their autographs too

Hello,celticceagle.I never met a celibrity so far.It's really a pity.And I never try to wrote a letters to them,because I don't think they could receive it and give me a reply.But actualy I want to meet a lot celebrities.This days I am addicted to Taylor Swift.I wish I could meet her,but I even never dreamed her,it makes me upset.And I also want to meet CP3 and KB24,I watch their games in internet almost everyday.Even they have been to China last summer,but I didn't get the chance.

Nope just shook hands with Rex Alan And Marty Robbins.
Most of you wont know them but MArty ronnins wa a countery singer back in 50s to th70s I think.
and Rex Alan was in old western movies and in rodeos!

I have never met any huge stars but I used to work at a party store that Ted Nugent came into quite a bit. The first time I waited on him, I looked up and started to say "Hey you're.. and he got this look on his face like please don't, so I just rang him up and before he left I said you are though right and he nodded and smiled..after that he would come in quite a bit, usually in his hunting clothes, he was a great guy to chit chat with and to wait on, it was kind of fun keeping his identity from the other customers.

My husband was working in Alaska a couple of years ago and he and hs crew wound up in the local paper with Jarrid the subway guy, but those are are only claims to fame.

Yes, I have met a few- mostly for pictures, autographs after concerts. The Nelsons quite a few times..
But I got to meet Dylan McDermott about 12 years ago when he came to his sisters children's christening. And we all got to hang out in the back yard...
Oh did I mention, His sister is one of my very good friends- we worked together... :-)
My mother was really excited about it and was taking pictures of everyone and was a little frustrated with me because I wasn't all that interested in getting my picture taken with him. lol
I said "Mom, he's just Robin's brother... and she tells me all the stories of how he used to tease his little sister when they were growing up.. so I wasn't super impressed.." lol Anyway NOW if I could meet his co-star from HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS... Robert Downey Jr... Tht would be another story entirely!

That sounds so cool! I have never have a chance to meet someone that is very family international. I did meet one of famous actor when my and my hubby was walking on our way to a friend's wedding, the actor is from HK, i guess he just off a show and on his way back to HK, but we were so excited and forget to ask for a picture. Yes Ive met John Lennon when he came to Montreal for the bed-in. My dad was working at the airport at the time and I got to see him up close and get an autograph.

I also met a few singers known only in Canada and France.

I have lots of autographs because of my dad: Luciano Pavarotti, Tom Jones, The Beatles, Andy Kim (wonder if he's still alive lol), Tony Bennett (more for my dad than me lol), a few more but I dont remember now.

Oh and I saw Robert Plant when he was shopping in a store.
