Being in love is being complete, being alive and enjoying life... as if there is an empty space in me that is filled and supplemented by my loved one and feel her warmth and affection. Happy Hearst Day too!

Love is being happy and excited seeing yourself growing old with the one you love despite all the wrinkles and the aging looks he will still be the most handsome person for you. love is being in his arms when you feel so down and helpless the his hugs will give strength and calm you down.

Hi dorothy! And happy Valentine's Day to you too! I'm not exactly
as sure as you are about the "love" thing! My boyfriend and I
are going through some difficult stuff right now and I really
don't know how it's going to play out! So, for now we are just
taking things day by day, which is difficult when you are already
living together for over two years! So, for today we are staying
at home, he dyed my hair for me and I am making him a nice
dinner! We will exchange gifts after dinner! It is pretty much
like any other weekend, but we have been talking things out and
hopefully we will be able to work things out! Wish me luck!

Hello. Happy Hearts Day to you as well. Oh, yes ain't love grand. I used to be a die hard romantic until afew years back. I actually remember that weak in the knees feelings, the bubbly feeling in your belly when you are with them, the feeling of intoxication, etc., etc.. I just happened to wake up recently and my intellect took over. I hope I still have some romance left for those great love scenes I plan on writing down the road a piece. LOL Have a nice day!

you havea great way to define what love is. in my opinion and experience love never gets old, love is taking what is there the perfect and inperfections. love is respect and breathing as one. love is taking yourself a backseat and giving what your love one wants to get. love is an explosion of a lot of feelings undescribed by words. happy hearts to you too.

For me, love is special. It doesn't come in your life often but when it does it makes you feel that the world is just a better place.

Sharing a life with someone is indeed a calling, it isn't for everyone.

I greet all the lovers out there a Happy Valentine's Day, I pray that love would not only be felt during this special occasion but throughout your life. I pray that the relationship would grow and that love will never fade.

For those who are broken-hearted, alone and sad. Don't worry, love will find you when you're ready for it.

Remember that loving is a decision. But it's not just you who makes it. It takes two to decide to love to make it real.

hidorothy 09 You just summed up unconditional love and thats what my husband gave to me, he accepted me warts and all, and I was always so
comfortable with him,it was almost unbelievable.we both felt that it was ordained by a higher power that one day we would meet and we would know at once aha this woman is the one, aha this man is the one, and we felt sure of it. we were married for 43 y ears, a great marriage and we weathered the good and the bad because we were always there for each other which not all people can say.we lost a child, we each had illness but love and friendship helped us to weather it all. Yes i still got weak knees when he would come into whatever place I was at. My son now does the same thing, when he sees me his face always lights up. both son and father did that when they would see me. lol.

Love is being able to share your your emotions
with the one you love. Accepting that person for
who he/she is.. being honest and kind...
Their a lot of things that we could say about
love but even us as well if it's the
right way to define it..

I totally agree with you. Love is all that you said and more. Love enables me to be more optimistic. It makes me appreciate and enjoy life more. I have been in love for more than five years already with the same man yet I still get excited to see him every day. Love makes my problems easier to bear. I don't know why but that is love's effects for me and my friends. Lastly, love simply makes people happier. =)

Being in love for me is feeling like I am complete and fulfilled. It is knowing that there is someone there for me that will help me to be able to fulfill everyone of my hopes and dreams. It is knowing that there is someone that is counting on me and knowing that I am counting on someone else. It is having compromises and knowing how to work our way through problems together. It is a feeling like nothing else in this world.
