How often are you able to read the bible?  

if the bible were written in plain everyday language i would read it cover to cover, i dont grasp the way it's written, people tell me to keep reading and i will understand it in the way its written, that doesnt work for me. i went to catholic school so i do know whats going on but i would like to read it.

Like you, there are weeks that I am only reading and holding the Bible at church. I admit that it is not because I don't have the time but it is because I forgot to do it. Sometimes I am so tired of my day that even if I remember doing it, I still choose not too because I am lazy doing it. I don't know if there is a requirement for reading it, but as what I remember in church, we should read and meditate the word of God every day. I want to do it and I am trying.

I read it just about every night. It's good to go to sleep with the Word of God in my mind. I used to read it every morning, but somehow got out of that habit. That was good, too, because it helped get and keep my mind in the right place as I started the day.

Reading from the Bible shouldn't be a chore; it's a privilege. Many people don't even have a copy of the scriptures because it's illegal to own them. I think that if you can only manage a single verse each day, you will grow.

I read Bible only once, maybe twice and now I open it only if I need to quote references. This I do quite often because I am participating discussions of religion almost daily.

I am not a Christian so I don't have that problem with the Bible but even as a retired person with plenty of time I don't give enough time to spiritual practice. I don't think you are alone with this dilemma.

Even though schedules are a pain in the butt have you tried to get up 15 minutes earlier in the morning and have family know it is a dedicated time and not to disturb you?

I read the words of God everyday. It is a commandment of God to read the scriptures everyday. Every day is busy and we spend so much time at work, eating and in sleeping but we should never forget to read the scriptures at least once a day. My husband and I read the scriptures every day especially the Book of Mormon. We always have time for it even if we read it just for 15 minutes or so.

Bible reading is good practice and every evening we will read bible after the prayer. Now I not reading daily sometimes I shall read it. Christian priests will read bible during the holy mass . Bible is a message of jesus ,and give us many good principles and follow it in life. Bible really gives the picture of the real life through jesus.

I read my bible on a daily basis. It is good for the spirit and the soul.

I never read the Bible.Even I don't go to church.I'm infidel.Who need to have faith in god.It's not necessary.

Before, I tried to read the Bible every night but circumstances changed and I got busier and busier in school and some other affiliations and I forgot to continue reading the Bible. At the moment, I don't have the routine of reading the Bible and it's been a while from now already.
