Have you heard about the sardines in USA news?  

i was just talking with my son about that also and he explained a bunch of things to me that i told him to write down sos i can discuss it here as i cant put it into the right words but he said something about not to worry as Rome also had this situation and it worked ok for them. something like that look for me to start another discussion on economy of US...lol.

its just so sad for people that have no work and the poor here. thats how i like my sardines also and ever since we spoke about it ive had a craving for them now

guess we might get them from there now? dont know. do you have a lot of those companies there?

is it because of how they look? hhhmmm. usually a person will either like them or dont want to try them because of the looks. not sure tho ive ever spoken with someone thats never eaten them.

I've never even seen them. None of my family have ever eaten them either. None of their family ever ate them, so I guess as a by product, they never have either. Of course, they have seen them before. But I just don't think I've ever been around a place that had them or was serving them. I've seen them in cans in the grocery store, but have not actually seen what they look like. I just saw the cans that contained them.

I know what they look like. I mean I've seen them on TV. When I saw I've never even seen them, I mean I've never seen them in person. I've never been somewhere where they were being served, or kept, or anything.

I don't know too much of political "goings on" but I have been reading bits and pieces about Mexican officials are having quite a bit of influence on Arizona politics! Not dissing Arizona, I went to ASU for a semester.

i dont think so. they claim to be trying to help with the illegal alien problem, but i dont think our officials actually believe that

sadly its looking more and more like our poor kids are never getting another break here. and then they wonder why (the law makers, etc.) we dont want immegrants here takeing the few jobs there are

thats what surprises me in a way. because they are cheap. maybe kids dont like them any more or people are to hung up on mcdonalds i think

I doubt either one of my boys have ever tried them or would. They are definitely hookrd on mcdonalds tho & so is my grandson. That's because basically all he's ever had most of his life is junk food. His mother doesn't cook much & i don't think it's good for them plus it's expensive to eat out all the time.

so true. i think thats what keeps my youngest so poor all the time. they feed the kids mcdonalds when they get a little extra money instead of cooking.

guess that is a bit strange for a discussion but at least its different dont you think share a can? i eat a can by myself. guess im a bit of a pig oink, hey at least they arent fattening either. only the crackers etc. you eat with them. or like when we have ice cream with them!! yeah, thats it. its the ice cream. do they still make it here?

Yep! I think it is a first on here. Ice cream is made here. Oh ya! Sardines I wouldn't know. Probably. Silver fish too. Hehehe

oh no. and i figured we could always get plenty from there. i know most of them were already coming from there to here. also that yummy smoked oysters are those in the same plant? they do have some great artwork in sea type posters and ads.

yummy. that sounds good and would probably work better then anchovies as anchovies are way to salty and fishy tasting.
