That's right.
I have had three peices of bad news all today! And it's barely half over! My best friend sent me a message that her aunt passed away in the night. Then I got a call that my sister took her husband to the hospital bc he was having chest pains. And just now my mom called to let me know that my uncle (age 65) fell this morning and broke his wrist. They are still tyring to determine if he needs surgery or not! I'm like - wow! All of this in a matter of a few hours! Anyone else ever have one of those days?!?

What a sad story. All these things happened for a purpose. Be strong and don't lose your faith in GOD. I know you are, somehow these love ones of yours know they can count on you. Give them the courage and guidance to face these trials in their lives.

Aww. So sorry to hear those bad news. There are just days like that when everything seems to be bad. We just have to get through the day and think that tomorrow might be a better one. I hope your bro-in-law and uncle get better in time. And that your bestfriend would find comfort while in grief. Here's wishing you a better day tomorrow...

Thank you for the well wishes! I agree with you. My brother in law is home as is my uncle. My uncle has to return MOnday to see if surgery is needed and my BIL has to go to the cardiologist for a follow up. He already has a stint in..

Good to hear that, then. Hope there won't be any need for surgery anymore, for full recovery for both of them. See, things are getting better as we speak. Hope we all have a betterer (better than better :D) day tomorrow again!

That is a lot of bad things happening all at once. I've heard it comes in 3's, so hopefully your bad news is done now.

I got woke up in the middle of the night with a state tropper knocking at door telling us my uncle passed in a car accident. 1987.
Then years later i got woke up that my grandad had massive heart attack on mothers day.
Then 2 years later i got woke up with my cousin had a massive heart at 32.
Hope your day will get better!

hi I remember your other discussions your son was badly hurt,is he doing a lot better now? I know I too do not mind three smaller bad things bvut one big one sometimes changes your life forever. four years ago I was happily walking to my favorite restaurant for breakfast out, celebrating some time off. I tripped, lose my balance, and fell and changed my life forever. I landed on my left shoulder. I tried to get up and my left arm was useless. I landed in the hospital with a smashed left shoulder. had sugery, they made a bioni woman out of me and left me with a left arm that I can only lift maybe waist high. I have learned to cope but my life was changed forever . I used to be ambidexterous but now I c annot do a lot of things with my left arm so use only my right one. could have been worse I guess although t o me its bad enough lol

I'm thinking each of those were really big. Like the phone call I got telling me my son was mediflighted to the hospital from an accident. I had to fly out to see about him and I'm still taking care of him... I'll take three smaller ones compared to those bigger ones!

I never got any such news on this day, but if I had such three newses then it would have tough for me. I think I am lucky to not have these news. It is good to post here such things and I am sure your stress will get down after you share it with friends.
Let us hope good for the next day.
I wish you good luck.

Personally I think from time to time, we can all have days like this, and it does not always seem fair when they happen for sure. I know that sometimes it can even make you question... OK God, today is not Funny. Enough is Enough. But then I think things like this tend to happen to help us appreciate who and what we have in our life and to be able to make the Best out of each day we're given.

This is true. I am learning that we must find a way to be productive and work with whatever we are given for each day. WE can only work with what we have, but we should do our best with it.

I'm sorry to hear that you are getting so much bad news all at once like this. I have found this happens with me from time to time. It's like if there's something that can go wrong it will. I guess this is karma sent to test us. But there are times that I wish life wouldn't do this! But it wouldn't be life otherwise I guess.

hi macdingolinger love that user name he he he. anyway welcome to the rule of three, if one bad thing happens you must expect two more as it really does work like that. I worked for years in the hospital as a nurses aide and a lot of time in the ER. When an accident victim came in we all looked at each other, two more and we are okay. Then a heart attack, okay one more, a transverse delivery baby trying to come out butt first. so now we can look forward to some peace for awhile.ah the old rule of three also works for good. You get a letter from a long lost friend, two more to go, someone
knocks on your door with a telegram, you won a lottery, three you get a check back you overpaid your co pay. alas thats all the good for one day. Yes I have had quite a few of those days. the rule of three presides. lol

I have heard of the bad news coming in threes, but not good news. i got a check the other day for a good little amount and then last night I added a new student to my tutoring... guess I'll be looking for the third money huh?

I am very sorry to hear about all of that, that must be creating quite a bad day for you. I have certainly had those kind of days before too, those are the days when I feel I just need to go home back to bed and start over. Not a good day at all. I am very sorry that you have gotten all this bad news. I hope your uncle and your brother in law are OK.

Yes,there have been time I also go through that. There really are days when all bad news come. But there are times, all good news are what you hear. When it rains, it really pours. I wish I could have all good news all the time but not at all possible because life is like that... sometimes good, sometimes bad. but what is important is that whether good or bad, I know that God has always been good and He will always see me through. Nice day to you!

Wow, that does sound like a bad day. I know the feeling though. Some days it seems like it's just one bad thing after another and you just want the day to end. It can be overwhelming when multiple things hit you like that. Fortunately, those days are usually few and far between. After you make it through, you get up the next day a little more prepared to work through the bad circumstances and forge ahead. At least that's the way it is for me. I hope you're having a better day today!

Hi Mac!.
I think its really not pleasant to hear so many bad news continuously like thats
. I hope you feel much better know and hope your brother in law and your uncle was in good condition now.
I can not log on this few day. the connection was really bad. I got my notification pilled up from day to day. I hope I had chance to replying to all my friend discussion but its seem impossible with this connection.

Yes it can be a little rough getting all that at once. At least none of it was life threatening! All seems to be settled down now, but my uncle had surgery today on his wrist!

It is just so-called that misfortunes never come singly or "It never rains but it pours".However contingency exists in inevitability, for example,in winter some old illnesses are apt to attack, when it snows, the road is slippery, old man is prone to slip and fall.I hope you can get the better of worries.

I do not remember days happening that way, I went through a few years, two or three, of people getting sick and dying. I hope that tomorrow brings you a much better outlook. It is great to be here and see people who can remember to lift you up.

Yeah I had a good share of those kind of days in December. It was one thing after another and sadly it wasn't to someone else it was to US! My MIL practically stopped talking to us cause everytime we'd call it was something bad.

I have heard older people say that 'bad things happen in 3's'. i have thought about this a few times over the years when something bad happens, then something else....and I wondered if something else was going to happen to make it 3.
So sorry to hear about all the bad news. I hope things will look up for you very soon.

Hi macdingolinger! As the saying goes...when problems come they come in bundles. I've had these bundles in the course of my lifetime. But know what! I survived as I am sure you did. You look and sound fine now. That shows strength of character...to be able to jump over hurdles.
Carry on macdingolinger!
