AZ governor Jan Brewer met Air Force 1 to greet Prs. Obama. Obama lashed out at Brewer for what she wrote in her book, "Scorpions for Breakfast". The scene was described as "an intense conversation". This isnt' the first time, when Gov. Brewer was in Washington for a discussion on immigration, Obama lectured her "like I was a school girl".
Obama often treats governors as if they were employed by him. I have to wonder if he thinks the executive branches of the states fall under the federal executive branch.. namely.. HIM!
I guess the governor should just kiss his ring and bow down to him.. like he does to the royalty he wants to be.

living in the UK I am unaware of this incident but find myself unsurprised by his arrogance. I am no fan of obama as i find him weak hiding behind his dazzling smile. i watched your election from across the pond and hoped for a first female president with history rather than , from my knowledge, an untried or untested with no real evidence of presidential credentials.
I hope the US people elect wisely next time around. but then bush got a second term.

America can't afford to have him for four more years, I too hope the American people wake up and realize this.

Obama very much wants to turn the U.S. into a socialist state with him as dictator. His tactics are to make as many voters dependent on the government as he can so they will vote for him again or for his fellow believers. Every socialist state has eventually run into problems and had to turn more to capitalism at least so some extent to solve their problems and to grow. Even China is doing it. The voters need to wise up and end this before more harm is done to our great country. So of course in Obama's eyes the governors of every state are just more of his minions.

The problem with this situation is that the photo shows a split second of the action. We don't know what he said to her or what transpired before and he very skillfully dodged the question later in an interview. He could have said something threatening to her with a smile on his face. Or he could have said Hi How is it going. We just don't know.
Remember this is the man who's friends got sealed records opened to eliminate the strongest contender against him in his run for US Senate. I think the Governor has reason to feel threatened. After all this man is suing her and her state for enforcing laws he won't.

The oaf has never had to face any opposition in his whole adult life. Small minded people simply worship him and hand him whatever he wants.

I guess the whole premise of "respect for the office" goes out the window if you don't approve of the person holding the office of President of the United States, right? In my opinion, that photo of Jan Brewer sticking her finger in the President's face is the WORST display of disrespect toward the office I've ever seen! I'd say and feel the same way if it had been President Bush or anyone else there on that tarmac.
The article you linked to fails to tell of the media tour Brewer has taken since the photo surfaced; she said repeatedly she "felt threatened". GIVE ME A BREAK! Threatened, right there outside of Air Force One with the Secret Service and the entire press corps surrounding them? What did she think, that he was going to hit her? He SHOULD have slapped her finger away or maybe bitten it...lol!
The bottom line is Brewer LIED at least once, either in her book when she described the meeting with the President at the White House or when she spoke to the press, with a big smile on her face and as relaxed as could be, immediately after it took place. Since the President reportedly let her know he disagreed with and didn't appreciate her account in her book, I'd guess it was the former rather than the latter, wouldn't you?
Of course, Jan Brewer doesn't work for Obama! However, this is about respect and decency. Frankly, I don't think anyone has the right to point their finger in anyone else's face but to do that to the POTUS is beyond outrageous. There's a big difference between acting like an immature little BRAT like Brewer did and "kissing someone's ring and bowing down to him", don't you think?

He's the oaf that bows to tyrants and treats his peers like children.

Ok, Annie, you're right, all governors work for the president, and they should kneel and kiss the ring.

What makes you so sure he "treated her like a child" in Washington? Is it just because she wrote it in her book despite her saying right after the meeting that it had been very cordial and had gone well?
Brewer was obviously NOT raised with very good manners or she'd have known it's never acceptable to stick one's finger in someone else's face. BTW, she didn't show up to "greet" the President, she showed up with a letter for him. What's up with that? She was there in person, what was in the letter that she couldn't have said to his face instead of poking her finger in it?

Not surprising that Obama treats governors as if they work for him as he considers himself the supreme commander of the country. He even stated in his state of the union address that he wants more power in the executive branch of government and he is asking congress to give it to him. He continues his efforts to circumvent and destroy the Constitution.
It's pretty interesting to see a governor standing up to him and trying to force him to uphold the law. Just the fact that he is so upset about what she wrote in her book makes me want to read it. As a matter of fact, I think I'll order a copy right now.

It really is wild.
When he's been saying about a thousand times over the past six months that "'We' can't wait for Congress," we all know what he's saying: I'ma do what I want from from 2012-16, without Congress and without the approval of the American people, so get ready.
As to Obama being upset: I'm really shocked that more people don't talk about his thin skin. (Not really shocked; I'm lying if I say I'm shocked MSM doesn't grill him harder. But I am a bit dumbfounded.)
Obama has lashed out at Fox repeatedly over critical coverage. He tore into Governor Bobby Jindal. He's outright dismissive and snippy whenever someone asks him a tough question.
I don't know what he thought the Presidency entailed, but he seems to have believed it meant he was King Barack Obama I for four years, and that everyone else would fall in line and play to his ego as he did what he saw fit.
2nd on wanting to read the book, too.

He was expecting to get the red carpet treatment he has had all his adult life. Being president was the first time he's ever had to face people who didn't fawn all over him.

This is just another typically Obama moment, to add to the long list of them from his Presidency. As long as you are for him and agree with him on everything, he is your best friend; on the other hand, say something he doesn't like or disagree with him and you become world enemy number one! I hope we do better this go round, our country and economy need serious help, and we are not going to get it from his policies.
There is also an article on CNN about this, here is the link to it:
http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/01/25/obama-shares-intense-encounter-with-arizona-governor/
It also has an interview with Gov. Brewer after the encounter with Obama. Wonder if he will attack CNN now for running a piece he doesn't like, lol. Why not he does it to everyone else, apparently Governors, and let us not forget Fox News.
