The Special K Diet

Let's talk about the Special K diet. I have always been curious about it. I worry it might be too much starch for me being a diabetic, but I am kind of curious to see if I could lose weight in 2 weeks as promised. Has anyone ever done this diet? Did it work for you? Any tips?

Of course you can lose weight on a Special K Diet, in fact if you eat it exclusively,you will die of malnourishment. Special K is made from whole grains which are very nourishing before they are processed, but when it comes out of the box it is a food with no value. If you want to be healthy and save money on food, eat natural food that has not been processed! One of the best breakfast Cereals (which you can make yourself for very little money) is Oatmeal Cereal. Cook it for a few minutes and eat it hot! This porridge fill you up, and keep you healthy!

I have been eating oatmeal at least once a week lately. I add some cinnamon for flavor and then I pour in some raisins it tastes really good that way. I can't stand it plain.

I eat Oatmeal 6 mornings a week,cooked with raisins. Measure out the Oatmeal and raisins, and add the water before you go to bed at night. This softens the oats and puffs up the raisins. Quite delicious served hot!

I have not done just a special k diet....I don't think it would work for me as I would be hungry all the time...but I have tried their new chips which are low in calorie and they are absolutely yummy!

I like those too, lots of fiber too which is great and they even have a bit of protein which is good as well.

I've tried it i lost some weight but not much. The shakes are nasty but the cereal and cereal bars are the only good thing about the diet. I been doing weight watchers and losing more weight doing that then I did with the special k diet.

I did really well on Weight Watchers too. I am probably going to back on Weight Watchers on line, I found it really flexible and effective. I lost 27 pounds a year ago but I have gained back 4. I really want to lose that 4 plus another 10.

I never did the Special K diet because I really dislike Special K. I have tried cereal diets though. I can never stick with them because I get really bored. I have started doing a mini-meal diet. I like it a lot! I get to eat every few hours and I never feel hungry.

I have tried this diet past years and yeah you do lose a few pounds starting out, but then if you quit it before long that weight will be back on you. If it just comes back you're lucky, many times it will just come back plus another few pounds. I have been doing a herba life program. It is where you have vitamins, shakes, and a structured diet and I have continued to lose weight. It is not quick but I have lost almost 20 pounds over the last couple months.

i tried it once for 2 weeks and i didn't lose a jean size, i was so bummed! I was very angry because i really wanted to lose weight. And i had bought everything from there. then the next week i just did my diet differently i added more vegetables to my plates and exercise and in one week i lose 9 pounds compare to special k i lose 6 pounds with exercise and everything.

Sounds like your body needed time to flush. It always takes me about a week before I see results from any diet. My husband always loses weight right away, and I get all upset because I didn't lose any and then all of the sudden 4 pounds are gone.

My sister once lost her weight for ten pounds in a month.Well,this just has something to do with the diet and also exercise.Less specy and also greazy food.Drink more water and also exercise would be perfect and hopefully this will help.
