I don't know about you but I love the Parmesan cheese. No, not the fancy big chunks of it. I mean the poor people version -- little crumbles in a shake can. But even this has gone up in price. The name brand seems to run...

I discovered just a few days ago NOT to buy the store brand of Ritz crackers. Usually the store brands of things are pretty good, and equal in taste/quality to that of the more expensive options - with a few exceptions.
I found...

I brought a pack of store brand refrigerated cookie dough. They were snickernoodles. When I got home I pulled them out and placed on the cookie sheet, waited about 20 minutes before baking them so they could thaw out. I set the...

Have you been to Walmart lately? I do most of my shopping there and have noticed something strange going on. In order to save money I like to buy the walmart "great value" brand items when they are available. However, that brand...

Which do you prefer and do you have a certain brand you really like. I used to love Hellman's mayo and still do if I went back to buying Mayonnaise. One day, years ago, I gave the store brand of Salad Dressing a whirl and been...

I'm a huge coupon person as most probably know by now, but I was just reading this article on MSN about not using coupons. The woman stated that she did not like using coupons and that the only way that she could save money was by...

I love Dr. Pepper, but I usually get the store brand. I tastes nearly the same, and is much cheaper. I only get Dr. Pepper if it is on sale for less than the store brand. Which kind do you buy?

We live on a budget. So whenever possible we try to by the store brand items. But then there are a few things that no matter what I have to by the name brand. Like mayo, the store brand stuff just doesn't taste right. I will only...

How many people use store brand products vs. name brand? A lot of things that I get are store brand, and they are just as good as name brand. What do you think?

Do you think there is a quality difference between store brand vegetables and Name brand vegetables?
I buy both, but the store brand has to be on sale. I am frugal. I don't feel there is much of a difference.
