The tomato bushes have lots of little ones. While we're waiting for them to get big and red, I'll probably fry some green tomatoes soon.
There's just...

I hope your dinner/supper meal was delicious. Ours was scrumptious. I fried some country ham, potatoes with carrots and onions, fresh cabbage, and biscuits.
It was soooo good! I could have eaten another whole plate of seconds,...

We have been building the soil up for a couple of years, and got it tilled on Saturday. I put in winter onions. I will go downstairs and go through my old saved seed and see what I can get planted, and how they do. I am excited....

Two weeks ago my husbnd put our vegetable garden in - this pic is only half of it. I haven't had a garden in YEARS and he's NEVER done one. The weather was pretty warm there for a while, but the last two days have been very cold....

I have always been able to eat whatever I wanted and not gained weight. This has caused me to eat and cook and not really think about the unhealthy foods I put in my mouth day in and day out.
My husband is wanting to lose...

Just heard about a new product called "green bags" which keep fruits and veggies fresh for 18 days. The cost is $10.00 but nothing was mentioned how many were in a box. I would definitely have an interest in buying this product....

Fresh fruits, veggies, and herbs have a much better flavor than either canned or frozen. They are also healthier and better for you. They do take a bit longer to prepare, though. More and more people use canned or frozen varieties...
