I don't know what it is about these shows, but it always makes me want to clean, and get rid of stuff lol.
Of course I know that Hoarding is no joking matter, but the show definitely gets me to cleaning.

I simply do not understand the logic of those who love to hoard even at the expense of depriving them of their daily necessities
They spend little on themselves and those around them but have fat bank balances and even goods. My...

I know there are many dog lovers who write on myLot. I am one too (though my daughter's Chihuahua puppy tries my patience). On Thanksgiving night, while at my daughter's house, we streamed this wonderful documentary. It is a not a...

Can you imagine keeping 68 dogs on your property and in your home? Neither can I. I read in the paper today that authorities have rescued 68 dogs from dog hoarders on Butts Mill road.
They found all sizes and breeds. From...

No he is not doing it on his own either, he would never actually do any work around here like that. Just what HE 'wants' to do. My mom must have suggested to my brother this morning (being it is Saturday) and he isn't working on...

A percentage of people have an easier time collecting stuff than getting rid of it. When a person is overwhelmed by material possessions and is unable to decide what to get rid of they are labeled a hoarder.
Some folks say that...

Thinking about the television show, I was wondering how many of us mylotters either now, in the past, or even in the future, could qualify for the television show "Hoarders". I am sure there are a lot of us that could, whether we...
