I want to get my son something that he can take to church with him and sing. Is a Portable Karaoke machine good for this? I can't afford a high priced one. If anyone knows anything about these machines and can recommend a good one...

here in philippines we always sing on videoke with my family or friends singing jams of english and in tagalog. it's always been a long time tradition here. do you also do that where you live?
