Oh piece of lint,
Small and gray,
Floating from above,
Please don't go away.
Land on my shoulder,
Or on my head.
I will take care of you
And put you to bed.
Oh piece of lint.
Gray and small,
You are here to stay
A friend to...

I wore green socks for St Patrick's Day. When I took them off, I notice that my toes were covered in green lint. Now, these are not new socks, or fluffy socks. I've worn and washed them many times before. I have dark pink and...

Lint upon my jacket,
How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways.
You are a fluffy gray matter
That never gets in my way.
You are forever silent,
Not pushy or gay.
You blow with the wind,
But in the end, settle down.
You can...

We bought a dryer last week from a moving sale. The guy told my husband it worked good, they were just moving and trying to down size so they were getting rid of it. The guy brought it to our house, but we couldn't test it out...

I did my laundry the other day. As is often the case, there was lint in the lint trap. It was pale blue in color. I removed and tossed it, fired up the dryer, and dried my clothes. Later, when I removed my clothes, there was lint...

Just a small harmless piece of lint
Descended from the air.
It was gray, shapeless, and solemn,
But I didn't really care.
It landed on my overcoat.
It jumped around a little bit.
And then it gave me a toothless smile.
My humble...

My precious piece of lint.
How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways.
I love your gray mass.
I think it is kick @#$
I love your aimless stare.
You are beyond compare.
I love your gentle touch.
You are too much.
Finally, I love...

Little piece of lint,
Humble as can be.
Gray and fuzzy,
I shall set you free.
You're sitting on the table
In my living room.
You'd rather be on the kitchen floor
To meet your vacuuming doom.
So I shall rescue you for the...

A week ago I found a nickle in the washing machine. I know it came out of my husband's pants since I don't carry change around in mine. I put the nickle on top of the dryer and left it there.
A little while ago I noticed a lot...

The load of towels in the dryer was still damp after a long tumbling. I knew that meant I needed to clean the lint trap. I always forget that.
Such a nice, thick, soft wad of lint. I love lint, its many colors woven together...

ggrrr....I bought myself this really hop pair of black skinny jeans with flared bottoms. They were a great price on clearance, and I love the way they fit.
What I didn't love was the minute I put them on, every piece of hair,...

Would you leave the clothes dryer running when not at home? I've talked to several firefighters over the years and learned it can be a fire hazard to leave it running. Primarily because lint left in the lint trap can cause fires....

I was reading that you should wash off your lint trap in your dryer because some residues build up on it aside from the lint. What's the best way to do this? I'd be afraid I'd cause the screen/lint trap to rust or break down if it...

My mouse gets so dirty after about a month. I'm a big hand washer so don't understand how this happens. I haven't taken the ball out underneath the mouse since it doesn't seem to get dusty or dirty. Bought some hand wipes from...

I was just upstairs in the bathroom and I noticed all the hairs on the floor. We have a white floor so it's so easy to see all the dust and hair. I just went into the cabinet and took out my handy lint roller. You know the kind...
