The cold medicine I took clouded up my head some more, and I didn't realize what time it was (10:11 right now by my computer clock). I need to get to bed.
Tomorrow's Thursday, and I'll be staying home from the Food Bank--I...

My niece and great niece and great great niece (Rosie) live in a duplex in Newton. There was new construction nearby, and now there are new neighbors.
Great great niece had a "Stitch" (animated character) costume. The brand new...

The house in back of us was always so quiet. A retired cop lived there . . . we did not know him well, but he was a nice guy.
The past few months had been particularly quiet. It wasn't until we walked around to the next...

I heard banging upstairs, and when I looked out the window, sure enough there's a U-Haul truck out front.
So far all I've seen is a couple of guys--I was hoping for someone with at least a dog, but...whatever. I hope that...

Ugh...
Wasn't able to get a whole lot of anything done today, because I wound up taking a nap.--I'm guessing that it was about two and a half to three hours. Never got to the store or anything.
Angel finally...

I got up around nine, but had to start a load of laundry, make breakfast and then make a couple of phone calls. Now that I'm done with that, I can finally say hello to you all.
I need to go to the office and pay my rent, and...

I was coming home with the dirt from the store, when I saw one of the maintenance guys had his little cart outside.
I said something about them working on it (the apartment), and he said that they were done.
Then I said...

Today while out in the backyard, I noticed more of the neighbors have dogs. I saw this last week but wan't sure who lived in which house. So many to try and keep up with now.
So far nobody has a fence except me. I hope that will...

And here we go again. Looks like the last house that was built is now occupied. Saw the U-Haul in the driveway yesterday. So far, I see two adults, two kids and one dog.
At least I have a fence. We will see how it goes. I know I...

The last of houses were finished last week in the new part of the neighborhood. Remember the part that replaced the dairy farm? I hope the new neighbors will be as quiet as the cows were. Ha!
Today there are people moving in...

Most of the new homes have been built behind ours where the dairy farm used to be.
Now I see new neighbors moving in all the time. One family at a time.
Life is all about change. Maybe I will meet some of the new residents on...

I was just thinking this morning that I need to do something to increase my weight loss besides my diet when I happened to see this little minion image on Pixabay. I have to admit, it made me giggle.
So, what will your life be...

I love my building and my apartment, so please don't get me wrong.
The space is small but laid out well. The building is clean and comfortable. Most of my neighbors are older, so there are no loud parties, no fights and no...

I'm waiting on a check from a customer and at first though maybe I got it. But, no. Not only was the letter not addressed to anyone living here, it also never even made it to the right street, city, nor state. Now that's bad....

Upstairs. It was so quiet for the longest time, since I moved in back in August. For the past couple days I've been hearing noise on the ceiling/floor above my head.
It isn't a lot of noise, but it is noticeable and loud at...

I love dogs, I truly do, but I am not so enamored of dogs that bark and bark and bark, especially at night when I am trying to sleep.
We have new neighbors that have a beautiful mixed breed, very large dog who is very vocal.
If...

Do you introduce yourselves to your new neighbors?
I have new neighbors who purchased the home next to mine for two months now. I have never really seen them for more than a minute outside. It's not that I care but if they're...
