Books! alibrarian is an information professional trained in libraty and information cience, which is the organization and mangement of information services or materials for those with information needs. Typically, livrarians work in a public or college libraty, an elementary- or secondary-chool media center, a library within a company, or another information-provision agency. Some librarians are independaent entrepreneurs working as information specialists, atalogers, indexers and other professional, specialized capacities. Librarians may be categorized as a public, school, correctional, special, independant or academic librarian. Although the above is true in general I find that the people who work in the library are often not as knowledgeable as they should or could be. Often they just don't understand how something works and it takes them quite a while to grasp the fact that people are in line, they are waiting and that they actually have other things to do than wait for the librarian to wake up and give the correct change.
