The Halloween treats, packages of small candies, small chocolate bars and so on, are out on the shelves. Even with the sale prices on them it is easy to see that the cost of both sugar as well as cocoa, has risen in the past...

By "hot," I mean "spicy," as in some Thai, Mexican and Indian foods. I do, but I've been sticking to milder foods recently as I figure out my health issues. But dang, I am "Jonesing" for some Tom Kha Gai tonight. I have not...

The 1976 horror film “Burnt Offerings” was scary because it had some kind of evil possessive spirit that had learned to renew itself through choosing one person to embody. The film never gained too much popularity, but one thing I...

Amber The only drama I know of was from a habitual harasser I quit following long ago. Why said person was not eliminated from circulation forevermore I do not know. Welcome back, and I do hope you’ll be around awhile. You were missed.

I think that is the best way to describe how today went for me. I didn't seem to accomplish much at all. Oh I did all of the normal and routine things, but did not get any "extras" done except for paying Google for excess...

We’ve been away overnight but are home again now. Vince’s brother bought this stubby holder for him. A stubby is a glass bottle holding about 375ml. The term usually refers to beer. Stubby holders are mostly made of some sort of...
