UnicornDancer We live in the country and can hear when someone crosses the cattle guard, but the dogs let us know even before that that someone is coming. They are the worlds best early warning system. No one can come into the yard without them barking.

UnicornDancer You might try taking him for a long walk when you take him out. Not only is it good for him, but it might help move things a long too. Then take him to the spot he seem to like for that and see how that works.
