david223 Can you switch from sitting in a chair to sitting on a yoga ball? That way you are actively sitting rather than passively sitting. You should notice a huge improvement in your glutes and thighs.

david223 I stayed in the Weekly Mansion in Kamedo http://www.wmt.co.jp/en/. It was cheap, clean and the staff were super friendly. You should also try to get a Japan Rail Pass to see other cities like Osaka and Kyoto. Enjoy your trip!
