I have a friend who loves Garfield the cat (who doesn't?) and I wanted to crochet an afghan for her of Garfield. Does anyone have a pattern for this, or know where I can find one?

sasklily @sasklily (240) • Canada 7 Feb 07

I've crocheted for many years and now I just do small projects, such as doll clothes and baby sets. I needed an outfit for a 15" doll and, as I was working on it, got the idea that I might need this again in the future. It...

17-yr olds shoot and kill horses. Should they be tried as adults?

crazynurse @crazynurse (7482) • United States 10 Feb 07

My community is reeling in shock. Two boys, aged 17, drove to a reclaimed mine site and shot 40-50 shots at a herd of horses who were grazing on grass. Three horses were killed and several others wounded. The killed horses were...

COLLIS2 I'm in your situation and I've found that there is a cap for self-employed people whereby if you make a net of over $75,000 per year, you are better off incorporating. Otherwise, you do not have to pay social security and medicare but then again when you...

COLLIS2 @COLLIS2 (479) • United States 4 Feb 07

On a busy weeknight, it's hard to cook for hours to prepare a hearty dinner. I'm just looking for thoughts on what others cook to save their sanity during the weekdays but is not utter junk.
