Graduation gifts for highschoolers

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 31 May 10

Any ideas? There is one boy and one girl we need to buy for. We don't know either real well so we aren't sure exactly what they are in to. She is a cheerleader going to college to become a judge (of course she has to be an...

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 1 Sep 09

I am so freaked out right now! I opened my silverwear drawer for a fork and there was a SNAKE drapped across the entire drawer! I screamed like a banshee and ran after my husband. Thank goodness it was a small one, but OMG! It's...

My miscarriage - a blessing?!?

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 17 Aug 09

I was talking to an older lady (she was in her 60s or 70s and I'm only 36, so to me she was older) at Walmart while waiting on a prescription last month. Her comment has had me festing over it since then and it still bugs the...

Do you follow directions?

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 15 Aug 09

I usually do but for some reason when it comes to laundry soap and fabric softener I can never stop at the "full" line. I always add at least 1/2 cup more laundry soap and not quite double the amount of fabric softener. When we...

How many times do you vote? It is fair to stuff the ballot box?

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 25 Jul 09

Do you sit and hit redial over and over for the same person or only vote for them one time? Do you call and vote for more than one person each week or just vote for your favorite? I have several that I really like and two went...

Hair removal - what do you do?

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 25 Jul 09

I don't know about anyone else but I HATE to shave. I often use Nair, but the last time I did I ended up with chemical burns. It was a new formula and I didn't do the skin test since I've used Nair in the past with no problems....

Do you turn off your car when you get gas? Do you smoke?

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 16 Jul 09

There are signs all over the gas stations saying you should turn off your car before pumping but I was curious if people actually did it. I'm paranoid and I KNOW that if anyone's car is going to blow up because they left the...

Have you ever been robbed or mugged? Do you have an alarm system?

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 15 Jul 09

I was watching a TV show the other day and it said that every 10 seconds someone's house is broken into, or something to that effect. Someone tried to get into my parents' house once, about two years ago, but they had an alarm and...

Have you ever hit an animal with your car?

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 15 Jul 09

I hit a snake crossing the road when I was 16 and in Driver's Ed, but other than that I've never hit anything, knock on wood. We live 15-20 miles out of town, so there is always roadkilll on the side of the road, especially deer....

It happened again. I don't know how I feel. I don't WANT to feel.

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 25 May 09

I went to the ER on the 18th. I had been spotting off and on a couple of days, but actually started to bleed lightly, so I was concerned. Because of a glitch in insurance, even though I am high risk and I was 9 weeks and 6 days...

The only one who knows how to change out the empty toilet paper roll? Seriously?

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 25 May 09

It seems like no matter who's home we're at, the toilet paper roll is empty and I have to change it. What's the deal? Even at other people's homes! Sometimes the TP isn't close enough to reach while sitting on the toilet, like at...

A sweaty man's smell - a turn on or turn off?

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 30 Apr 09

This may sound weird, but I was reading a book last night and the girl in the story was going on and on about the way the guy in the story (a cowboy, if that ain't expected in a romance novel ) smelled while she was...

Anyone out there do flea markets? As a seller, I mean.

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 28 Dec 08

I am looking for a place that sells items (books, cds, dvds) in bulk that you can re-sell at flea markets, and still make a profit. Anyone know of a company like this? You can contact me via email or something if you don't want to...

"Autism is a "fraud"" - Anyone else hear about this?

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 23 Jul 08

My MIL called me this morning asking if I had heard about the rant by a radio talk show host and Autism. I said, no, I hadn't. It took some hunting, but I finally found it on the CNN website and listening to him made me furious....

Do you follow instructions or directions?

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 8 Jun 08

I'm talking about stuff like laundry soap. There is a line on the cup that says "fill to here" and that is all of the soap you need. Do you add more just in case or to make sure they get "extra" clean? Same with fabric softener. I...

Wash or re-use your bath towel?

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 6 Jun 08

I know some people that hang their bath towel over the shower rod to dry so they can use it again the next day. They figure they were cleaned when they dried off, so the towel is still clean enough to use again. This is to help...

Background check behind your loved ones back? Power of good or evil?

lisado @lisado (1227) • United States 2 May 08

I was watching a TV show earlier and it got me wondering. If you had the power (say you worked for the FBI, the police force or some other company where you could dig up dirt on someone's past without them finding out about it and...
