Walmart Bombed

I just read in the news this morning that a man bombed a Walmart in Mississippi. The reason behind the bombing is because Walmart stopped selling the Confederate flag. Fortunately, the bomb did little damage and no one was hurt. The man was pulled over for a traffic violation and then was arrested as a suspect in the bombing. This doesn't really surprise me as there are so many crazy people out in the world. I am just thankful that no one was hurt as it could have turned out so differently. Here is the link to the article if you want to read about it.
A man who has been called a longtime supporter of the Mississippi state flag — and the “Stars and Bars” within it — is accused of bombing a Wal-Mart in that state because the retail giant stopped selling the Confederate battle flag, police said.

Too bad crazy and/or stupid people are still smart enough to build bombs and earn enough money to buy other weapons.

I hadn't heard about that. I can't believe the way some people react when they don't get their way. Glad no one was hurt.

This is very true. In my opinion, I don't think things like making bombs and how to kill someone should be online.

I am also glad that no one was hurt. At least he had the decency to tell the people that he had a bomb so they could get out of the way.

@simone10 It is too bad that all the awful stuff is on the news so much now. It gives us the impression that it happens everywhere, and it does not.

It was the flag used by the South during the Civil War. It is used now by hate groups. Therefore, the historical aspect has been replaced by this association. It is being taken down or removed to museums throughout the country. It is not being sold very many places anymore either.

Where are all these crazies coming from? Is it because the US is feeding people food that that has been altered? There has to be a reason somewhere, its can't be just the normal thing...

How disturbing! Not that they stopped selling it, but his reaction to it. I think people should be able to display it, as long as they are displaying the American flag. Not all people that display the Confederate flag are haters, it's people like him that make certain people hate that flag.
