MyLot payout minimum is $10 not $20

United States
November 7, 2015 6:28am CST
I started a discussion yesterday announcing that I got my money from myLot. I guess I was one of the first and being new that made me feel good. I certainly appreciate all the kind comments I received - thank you. With that said, I read a few comments on my discussion and on some other discussions where people said they are far from from the $20. You don't need $20 to get paid. If you have $10 in the bank by the end of the month you will get paid. Again, check out the 'Help' section when in doubt.
This is where you will learn all about the myLot Earnings Program

In the old myLot you could set your payment minimum higher, so if you didn't want to get paid until you had a certain amount of money earned, you could specify that. Perhaps some of those people used to have their accounts set that way .

I think they were new people mostly. I guess there has been a lot of changes here.

The attainable payout helps people enjoy the site. I guess the people who think $20 is the minimum will be surprised when they get paid before that.

They might think it's a mistake!

It is nice to know that $10 is achievable. I belonged to a site onc, for a very short time, where you could request payout after $5. For various reasons I didn't stay there very long though.

I belong to Persona Paper and you need $20 and once you hit it you get paid automatically also.

I don't remember reading anything about that in the FAQ's.

I am always surprised at how some people can get the most basic facts wrong. However, I guess the old MyLot conventions were different. You still would think that people would check out the minimum payment. I did.

I think the majority are new people getting it mixed up. but that's no excuse for not reading the FAQ's.

Actually it does not really matter as long as Mylot management is honorable. When we get the money earlier, we will spend earlier. If we get later, and in a lump sum, then we will spend later.

They are honorable for sure.

Many who join do not take the trouble to read faqs and guidelines resulting in having to write posts such as this.

You got that right! But that's how it goes on other sites also.

$20 is a bit too much for a minimum payout. At least that's what I think. It's a good thing they retained the ten dollar minimum.

I am surprised that many users do not even check the basics of the site. They do not know the rules, they do not know how is the minimum payout, they surely do not even know why they are here.

I agree, $10 is fine. Those who don't or can't spend a lot of time here can still hit that mark.

I think people here set a goal to try and make as much as possible each month and they want to shoot for a double pay out from the site. I tis nice to reach payout and the limit like you said is only 10 dollars and not 20.

@poehere To me setting goals take away the fun because all you think about is the goal.

I don't really set goals, but I like to hit at least 50 cents a day and so far I've had no problem with that.

@AbbyGreenhill That is an excellent way to do this. I saw a lot of posts in the beginning where people had major goals for this site and personally I never set on on here at all.

I like the payout rate now. If we participate regularly, we can all earn a payment a month.

I doubt that...they just assume things - like they make up guidelines that don't exist.

@AbbyGreenhill,Payout here is $10.It's another matter that if you reach the payout in the middle of a month, you get paid by 15th and thus you get a time to improve your earnings.

Whatever you earn by the end of each month from $10 up is what you get paid the following month.
