Time to post!
(I have been immersing in commenting on others posts that I haven't taken a lot of time to post myself! Perhaps this is the way it goes when starting out on a new site. )
I'm not sure if it's good to get into what I call heavy stuff on this site but that is what I mostly write about. The stuff no one likes to talk about.
So maybe a post that's a little more fitting since I am new here.
Here are 5 Things about me (and I would love to hear 5 things about you)
-I am 42 and a grandma!!
-I am terrified of chipmunks!!! (that deserves another !)
-I love happy people and sad people (life is dynamic)
-I'm happily married to an amazing man- his name is Ryan (for future reference)
-I enjoy painting (mostly acrylic)

Very interesting 
1 - I love Mother Nature
2 - I love to capture Mother Nature on "film" (k, it was film long ago now it's digital)
3 - I have furbabies
4 - I try to grow trees in this desert of mine

It's nice to know some things about you . But you are so young to be a grandma . I am 56 yet i don't have a grandchild yes . Our only child a 25 year old lady will still be finishing her medical studies by May next year . But she said she and her boyfriend will not marry yet but practice first their profession .

Hello and welcome to mylot. It was nice to read a little about you, and seems in the little you wrote it could/can lead to other discussions. Look forward to seeing/reading more.
- I'm 45 with 3 kids of my own and 4 step kids
- 8 grandchildren and one on the way.
- Happily married (my second) for 14 years now.

@CRanney A pleasure to meet you also. My name, well, it's cause I reside in Texas and where I was living was high possibility of tornadoes. (A friend says, it's cause I am unpredictable..

-I am a vet tech and love animals
-I am an adrenaline junkie
-I have a wonderful little boy who is 12 years old.

@Castlerock34 Happy to Virtually meet you too! Yes some clowns are pretty creepy. I once dressed as one as a volunteer at a church picnic to pain childrens faces lol. I just looked like a dork But I did learn that you can actually go to school to learn how to be a professional clown. (not that I want to) but I found that interesting.

@CRanney Yes you can actually, I had no idea either until i stumbled upon this show. I had no idea either lol. Its pretty amazing on what you can go to school for now days

Nice to meet you Colleen.
I enjoy photography, writing and painting all mediums
I love my pets- 2 dogs 1 cat 2 goats
I am married and love my husband
I love all shades of purple
I like comfort foods
I have guest chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits, coyotes, and skunks along with neighbors dogs, and wild cats come to visit occasionally.

Welcome To myLot Colleen!
I am 64..a Mom of 5, Grandma of 11 1/2 and Great Grandma of 1..I was 39 when I became a grandma
I do not like squirrels since they think in the cold my attic is their new home..hahah
I have been here since 2008 and give out free brownies
I love to read and garden and do herbs
I am happily alone now so this is my ME time
