Part of the fun of myLot is participating/interacting in discussions. Chatting back and forth is what it is all about. But sometimes just sitting back and reading the comments is entertainment itself.
I cannot quote some of the comments since to my way of thinking that would be plagiarizing. But let me just say, thank you to those who make me smile, laugh and yes, even scratch my head in wonder!

There are times I have to/want to start discussions and there are times I don't feel the need so I read.

You are absolutely right that some mylotters have great sense of humour and wit. They write such witty and funny comments that you can not stop laughing.
Sometimes, I just read responses to a post, however, if I feel that I have something to add, I add my comment also.
Interestingly, I've observed that where I add any comment to any other user's response, my comment is further commented upon and if I have also replied to the same discussion, my own response to the discussion goes unnoticed.

@AbbyGreenhill Yes, you are right. Also, while interacting comments on related issues also surface and if interaction gets lengthy, main topic of the discussion takes a back seat.

You never know how these comments/responses/replies go. Sometimes I think if a discussion goes on and on with responses to comments people sort of get lost in there and eventually don't continue the interaction.

im happy that you enjoy being here i agree with you the funniest part of being here is to become frriends with people also. we all are here working and having fun at the same time what is great and its like we dont make sacrifices to earn money. we do it with pleasure

@AbbyGreenhill i also hope that you can be able to earn some good money here. we all need some extra income so we can buy some things for us and not only use money to pay bills. we work so we need to spoil ourselves also

Yes, it is a priceless place, and yet, they give us a little money to be here and be entertained. I love the skills some people exhibit. A very random, unrelated comment is made and gets answered with no one missing a beat.
