yes the dreaded cold is lingering on and i've been staying home for the past few days so i won't spread it on to others..say thank you to me for not doing that! I'm sure many parents are thinking.."I wish many others would do that" But for now it is keeping me from going out and being a happy person and tomorrow is my granddaughter 2nd BD party so i better be at least 80% better so i can go. Now send me some loving wishes that i will make it and i will reward you with..can you guess?

Maybe you should get some of those things that surgeons put on their face to prevent the cold from spreading to others at the party. I know, it doesnt go good at parties, but then, I also know you are a loving grandmother and it would be not a good idea to miss the 2nd BD party of the lovely child. As for the loving wishes... lots of warm hugs from within the cupboard

Just rest and get better. That is the best medicine. There is no miracle cure for the common cold. it usually takes a week to come, a week to stay and a week to go away. At least that's what I have been told. Don't go out and spread it. Although, after you get the cold, the stage of spreading it is usually over. I will give you a virtual tissue. Here. Hope that helps. Nice!!!

I hate colds, as when I get them, I get them bad. It seems to get down into my chest, and I just can't seem to release it, and I get tickles in my throat that cause problems, and I cough like crazy. I try to avoid them, but they are inevitable, that is for sure. I hope that yours gets better, so that you can spend the time with your grand child.

Oh I do hope you are better for the party! My grandmother told me that a cold needs 9 days: 3 to come, 3 to stay and 3 more to go and I have noticed that is usually the case. It seems a lot longer as a cold makes us miserable but it is really onòy 9 long days
