Do you think it's weird to put up more than 5 posts in a day?

Hey guys, Just a quick question. I came across a fellow user who said something to me in one of their comments on one of my posts. She said putting up so many posts won't help. Why wont it help? I mean the more I put up, the more people will comment and the more I can interact and in the end my bank would grow too. So why is it weird if I put up more than 5 posts, even 7 - 10 posts in a day. I would do it on Bubblews and yes I know Bubblews is different but it did help. What do you guys think about this? Please share your views

Just to prove the point, the other day I posted one discussion all day, just one and went from 55 cents a day to 80 cents that day. So, posting 5 isn't necessarily the way to go.

@cxndie This isn't a 'writing site' its a social site so it works differently.

Commeting, replying and interacting is very important on here to get your bank to rise. I put up more than 5 posts only because I like sharing my random thoughts.

Ah, well I like writing and I end up doing more than 5. In two days I've done more than 18 posts. Is that weird?

@cxndie I am not sure weird is the word, but excessive is more like it.

I feel the same way about quality and quantity. If I make 2 posts a day I feel that is more than enough. I need to leave time to comment as well as to write.

I don't think that it is weird. It is not neccesary to start 5 discussions or more in order to earn. When you respond to discussions started by others and interact with other members you also earn, but when you start discussions you get the chance to share your thoughts and your experiences and you are able to read other people's opinions about your topic. That is the thing that I like the most about starting discussions. I think that it is fine to start several discussions if you have many things that you want to talk about, but I think that there has to be some kind of balance between the number of discussions you start and the number of the discussions you respond to, and responding is important as well.

I think interaction and one or two quality posts a day is much more effective that just adding post after post. I will rarely read more than two by the same writer in a short period. In fact if I notice someone writes lots and lots of discussions in a matter of minutes, I won't read any.

I rarely read more than two posts by the same person, although I do make some exceptions because some people write exceptionally good posts.

I think that as long as you are writing interesting posts that you should feel free to write as many as you want. Some days I write more than others. It just depends on whats going on with me on those days. We just need to remember that it's not just about our posts, but how we interact with the others. :) I don't think you're weird at all! \0/

Thank you!! Yes I agree its not about posts itself.I am interacting as well on others posts too. And putting up my own as well so I dont think anything is wrong with that right?!

I don't think it is weird to put up five posts a day here. On the contrary, I wish I could be so creative to post many discussions here. In fact I like to post discussions rather than commenting others' discussions.

@cxndie Usually I hope I will post something interesting. I feel it means less if I post something like what a fine day, happy birthday etc.

Why thank you! I'm glad you feel the same way I do! Posting is easy. You just need to look around you and see what inspires you. Whether it is on the way home from work, sitting at home watching the tele, looking through your window at work. Anything really. Dont stop. Just let your thoughts fly! And I would love to help you and contribute to all your posts

At first making many discussions might seem like the way to go. However, after a while people are going to get tired of always coming to your discussions if you don't go to theirs as well. The key here is interaction-so more than 7 posts in a day wont leave you much time to visit other people's discussions.

@cxndie As long as you make time to interact on other people's discussions it should be fine. =)

I don't necessarily agree but do agree that many people feel that way. I'd only expect my friends to come to my discussions if theyre interested orhave something to contribute...just as i'd only come to theirs if i'm interested and want to contribute. I may give a like to peoples discussions but if i don't think i can add anything i'll leave it at that...I'd not just respond just so as they will come to my discussions...I don't write enough discussions to do that

I don't take much time putting up posts. I get enough time to visit, comment and like other's posts. I am on here at least 3-4 hours in the day maybe more. At work for a while and also after work, which is now. So I don't really have a problem. Yes I will cut it down to 4-5 posts in a day but I feel there is no harm going more than 7. It is helping me for one!

You end up competing with yourself if you just blitz the site with posts - Many will read only the most recent posts you do so your earlier ones are not getting time to grab attention. Also this site is best seen as an interactive portal - it's replies and comments and likes that count more than posts - it's vital to spend time reading and commenting on other posts too even more so than adding your own. You obviously have lots to share so I look forward to seeing more of your contributions

I do not post every hour. I post maybe once in 3 hours. So i think that gives the site ample amount of time to showcase others posts on the recent posts tab. And I have to say this again and again but whatever I am posting it's doing good for me so I will keep doing what I am doing hhaha cause it may not be working for some but for me it is :) And yes I like sharing my thoughts and I love writing too so

If you post, say, 10 discussions a day, you won't become very popular here because you fill the Recent Discussion list from top to bottom and members can't find the posts they're really interested in.

for people interested in the money it's interaction that counts not where that interaction occurs. as long as you get back to people on your discussions many wont mind how many discussions you post although some may see 7-10 discussions posted per day as slightly excessive.

Ok but some say 5 is excessive too. I feel if i post 5 and interact as much as I can, why is that a problem? there are some users who say otherwise. I mean if im comfortable with it what wrong in that right? haha I enjoy posting and 5 is okay for me.

@cxndie @PhredWreck I find it extremely annoying to go to the "most recent" posts in the explore section of myLot only to discover that is dominated by a few people that have posted multiple times and sometimes keeping others off the list.

I think you can post as many as you want each day and see how each of them does. You can probably judge by the response if it's worth writing that many

Yes. but some people have told me this isnt a writing site, its a social site. I dont understand why we can't do what we feel is the best for us. Nothing is wrong or right. Its upto us what we want to do isnt it?

Not weird, simply unnecessary, and makes little difference to earnings here, and if you like people to read what you say, few myLotters get around to more than one post read a day, it's just a time thing

I enjoy interacting more than posting. Sometimes I'll put up a post that took a while to compose and edit. It's so disappointing to get only one or two responses. To me, it doesn't seem worth it to post.
