My "when I was younger" challenge photo

@DaddyEvil ...Nowadays, when I look at little kids pictures I feel like kidnapping them. Pity they all are grown up and wouldn't fit into the large bag I had in mind.

@TheHorse Yeah, I suppose that we can consider a change that happened in the last five or six months fairly gradual!

Nah, my metamorphosis was gradual.

@DaddyEvil I should go to seem my Mom before the end of the month, the 24th is my birthday, I hope to celebrate together.

@LadyDuck @TheHorse I like little kids, too... I am sure it will not be too surprising to either of you that I like to tease kids while they are still at that "I blush extremely easy stage." by asking them if they have gotten married, yet! I like looking at old photos of people I know/like, too, Anna.... I do hope you go see your mom fairly soon so you can post some more pics of the little cutie I saw a day or two ago! And yeah, pony, I got "caught" in the middle of selling a phone to a couple making funny faces at their six or eight month old baby, making her giggle! (The dad caught me and I saw him nudge the mom and point at me when she was giggling. I blushed at that point and the parents got to laugh, too!)

Aw, I think kids are kind of at their "cutest" in that four to six range. Actually, I can't stop looking at babies either. I always want to see if I can make them smile with silly facial expressions.

@TheHorse LOL! that's a funny thing to plot. I will know who to blame if a singular carrot appears in the middle of my front yard.

Heh heh. Maybe I was thinking "Some day I will be devious and plant gardens in unexpected places."

I'm not sure how they got me to smile like that. Pictures of me smiling are hard to find.

I graduated high school at 16, which made me a tad "immature" (in some ways) when I went to college the next year. I'm glad I went to a small college and not some big state school. Did you mind being young for your grade?

Ah, thanks. I remember thinking I was "dorky" but athletic.

@TheHorse yes i failed to mention you look athletic and i was not wrong.

Well, I already liked baseball at that age.

I'm glad I took piano lessons as a little kid. I've never stopped loving music.

I wish I had a picture of right after my brother and I got separated from our mother at a big plaza in Italy. You could tell we were both pouty and mad. I think we were 4 and 3. I think my brother (in Mass.) has that photo.

I remember that my first grade teacher liked me and thought I was good at math.

@JudyEv I don't think I was "teacher's pet," but I sensed she was "rooting for me." It was a good feeling.

@TheHorse It was okay for a teacher to like you but no-one wanted to be 'teacher's pet'. :)

My early childhood was good. Things changed later on. But I'm still "functional."

@Shiva49 I think a decent early childhood helps "buffer" us against the difficulties that inevitably come later in life.

There are a few of us. Someone would do a post calling all former Epinions members together. I still miss that site. I really enjoyed writing guitar and vintage stereo reviews.
