Seriously. I absolutely loathe being wrong. And I've been wrong twice this year now. In public. On myLot even. Dammit...I hope this isn't the beginning of a trend.

I am a mom, so I am wrong on a daily basis ... just ask my kids!

Kids are the best judges...my neighbor's son who is four years one month old gets to tell me I am "bad"...and I meekly accept his judgment.

Perspectives. Sometimes I like being wrong. They're a rich source of lessons learned. You can't be perfect, you're just human. It will not be a trend if you'll learn from it. Once upon a time I was gloating about my post that was "featured" in interesting discussions. Only to have two helpful men pop my bubble. It was downright embarrassing that time. Now, I can only laugh at it.

I can well understand your concern because twice in a single year is almost an addiction. It is very doubtful that I would like being wrong either, although I have not risked trying it.

It involved math and percentage conversions...I've always sucked at those

@JolietJake Many people seem to struggle with mathematics, but it was always my favourite subject.

@Asylum I don't have a problem with most of it, just converting percentages in my head...like figuring .005 when 1 = 414

No way ! I can't believe it - YOU? Oh well, at least you are being man (or bear) enough to admit to it! Just don't do it ever again!

I think I am having a bad day. I just heard a loud noise and went to see what it was...I forgot I was hard boiling eggs, and the water boiled away and they started blowing open. AND being wrong in the same day...don't know if I can handle this.

I hear you. Happens with eveyone. But sometimes we do get to see a different perpective towards things which would have been missed, had we been right. Haha. And it leads to funny memories.

I was off by about $1.92 when someone asked a question...I said 8 cents, and when someone posted the correct answer, I asked if they were sure, because *I* was sure it was considerably lower...but I was completely wrong...

Its good to be wrong once in a while, or you might just become Over-Confident and that would ultimately lead to Failure ! So its better to be wrong beforehand Like said by @pgntwo "To err is Human"

Oh well, wrong happens, just lick your wounds and go on. Thankfully it has only happened twice. It it happened more than that I would worry about you.

No one of us is infallible. We keep committing mistakes despite our best efforts. You should not feel guilty on this account (if you are feeling so). By the way you have not mentioned the incidents where you went wrong?

Most of us hate being wrong but there are times when we are wrong knowingly or unknowingly. Anyways being humans we cannot expect to be right all the time. We should not be too harsh on ourselves but one thing we should very much be aware of is that our wrongs do not harm others or our loved ones.
