I'm going to give up writing!

At least, that is how I feel tonight. No one has responded in hours so now I am imaging the worst.
Maybe I am not a good writer and pick the most boring subjects. Perhaps, I will never write a good sentence again. Is it possible that I will never be a Margaret Mitchell or Jean Auel?
Do you ever get burned out with writing and think about quitting? Maybe I should get on the train and keep on riding, not writing.

Awe, don't give up. Weekends can be a bit slow.

I am not a good writer either but I have few responses in my posts. Maybe you have to go around some posts and interact with them. Surely you will get responses. I never think of quitting to write, especially not in myLot.

I got responses earlier. Went to church and came back and no response at all. I just think crazy sometimes. I think we all do. Besides that, I have gotten likes and responses to different posts that others wrote besides the ones I wrote and my bank has not moved since sometime yesterday.

I don't post anything on weekends since my weekends are a little busy.

I assume you're talking about a discussion with no responses?
That can happen at times and often is nothing to do with the starter or the topic.
I don't see myself as a writer I'm someone who likes discussions so don't spend too much time worrying about what I write....I want to get responses so I can discuss a topic.
If you often get 0 responses maybe look at what you're writing or try to get more followers who like similar subjects.
Often topics don't pick up responses for a while but over time they get them.
Always try to get back to any responders as people like to respond to people that they know will get back to them.

@akalinus I do exactly the same.
When I post one of my rare discussions I try to stay around for a while so as to get back to at least the first few responses as quickly as possible and to get the instant back and forth that I like.

Never give up. You must not become a quitter. You have to hang in there with the rest of us.

I've found that bring overly tired makes me despondent or pessimistic, at times. I get discouraged about writing, as a result.
Even if you need to take a break, I'm sure you'll be able to come back to your work refreshed, since you seem to be very passionate about it.
