....improvise????
I am so far under the weather I am having a hard time seeing up....seriously, this bronchitis has knocked me for a loop. The last three nights I have had a total of maybe 3 hours sleep.
The coughing is the worst part and the pain from coughing so hard. I really feel like I've been 'rode hard and put away wet'....
Needless to say I am not going anyplace and that leaves my husband in charge of grocery shopping. I made him a list, a relative short list, and went over it with him. He is a list follower which is good in one way. On the other hand I'm sick and need some junk food - so will he or won't he improvise?

Oh my goodness. Bronchitis is horrid. I used to get it about every three months like clock work. This went on for about two years. THen I got pneumonia which I had for nearly a month. Not fun. Take care of yourself and don't try to get back at it too early. Rest!
Maybe you should improvise on the list. Hmm.

I used to get it once a year in winter...going to the doc in freezing cold weather just made is more miserable than it already is. I am so sore from coughing. But I'm just in day 4 so I have a way to go.

I was at the doc Friday morning, and started the antibiotics shortly thereafter. I crave junk food more when I'm sick too. The other night I had chocolate ice cream for dinner...well, my throat hurt and it felt good.

@AbbyGreenhill Oh good. Last year I had bronchitis and all the doc could do was to give me cough meds cause I did not have an infection. I refused the cough meds cause they make me goofy and I have too many critter responsibliities to be goofy headed.

Have you tried putting Vicks on your feet, then socks before bed? That helps with coughing, I thought it was weird, but tried it out of desperation one time, now I do it anytime I have a cough.

He did good...but he normally doens't walk the whole store...he gets the cold cuts and I am usually almost to the deli counter by the time he's done - he yaks with all the men and they give him all kinds of samples...so today was probably the first time he saw the whole store.

I get this once a year, usually in the dad of winter. He brought me a muffin, but unfortunately its a strawberry one...I don't do well with artificial strawberry or lemon flavors, so I might have to let him have it.

@AbbyGreenhill Touch wood - I rarely get a cough. My nose runs like a tap at the drop of a hat but that's that! Haha - nice rhyming don't you think?
