So I just went and looked, and I see why it's slowed down here...I looked through the first 7 pages of members, and recognized a lot of faces.
Hope y'all enjoy it, but I won't even be signing up.
You see, they want original content...and that's what myLot is for, for me.
If I have something to say, I say it here...I always have...and I can't go somewhere else and post things when it means I couldn't use them here.
Here is home to me.
I didn't come here from Bubblews or some other site, this has been my home since 2006, and is the first site I appeared on (other than myspace or facebook) and I feel a certain loyalty to it.
So y'all have fun over there...meanwhile, if you wonder where I am...now you know.

I have to say that Mylot is fantastic cuz we get to discuss stuff without coming up with 400 characters or 400 words or some such nonsense but I migrated here from Gather.com and I probably joined every site I could to try to earn a few bucks extra to pad my wallet .... as for having fun, well, nothin beats Mylot.

Gather was probably the neatest of those that folded, I could post a picture and all I had to do was label it with no limitations, then Bubblews expected 400 characters to write something ... well, we all know their story, right? ... and Chatabout just wants 20 words for their comments, none are or were as much fun as mylot but I do miss Gather.com, it was the first one I'd joined.

This is my site for fun and for home. I have looked at Blogjob, but not very thoroughly. I figure I have lots of original words in me, it is the brain cells I lack. I respect that you will not be there and I agree that nothing ever can replace myLot.

I have joined BlogJob now that they have opened their doors currently I don't have much time for on-line activities at the moment as I have too much other work to complete. Currently I am publishing in about 4 or 5 places but am not sure which I will ultimately call home.

@JolietJake Yes,may be you are right.I too am a member there,but have not put up any posts there.Many of the members of mylot are there,and very active.But I think it is better to be here if you wanted to get paid.

I have never done the sites you mentioned as I have always felt that mylot is my home too, even though I will be in and out periodically, as I have other things to do as well. I do my notifications, and respond to a few discussions, and then I go do what I need to do.

I signed up, wrote one thing and haven't been there since. Not for me. I enjoy my time here and I just cannot really enjoy anywhere else like I do here. This is home to me when it comes to being online. =)

I hadn't been able to even see the site until today but I went and had a look.
Don't know why but my internet doesn't like it and a pageload takes 15 seconds or so which is annoying.
I did see a few traitors over there

I'm not going anywhere, I've given up on reddit too.
I think a lot of people over there are the money earners because it seems there are a lot of ways to earn there...tried to look into it more but it was so slow I had to give up.

What exactly do people do over there? Is it a site similar to this? I also like MyLot above all else, and I didn't come from the Bubblesw (or whatnot) either. 2006 is a long time. Just out of curious - what was your username before you had this one? I recognize your style of writing (this sounds strange, but a lot of spaces and bolds and stuff) from back in like 2009 before the site went through some changes...

I came from Epinions to Bubblews, to here. I am having a lot of fun here. This is what Bubblews aspired to be before they ran it into the ground. I like it here and have no desire to join the mass exodus over to some new site.
