I had a busy day, this morning I had an appointment with my dentist for the annual teeth cleaning.
Earlier in the afternoon, I went shopping for a gift to offer to my Mother for the Mother's Day. I cannot be in Italy the next Sunday, so we are going to Milan tomorrow to celebrate with her in a nice restaurant.
I am sorry, but you will not see me around tomorrow, I will be back on Friday.
The photo is a flower that I have seen today during my walk to the dentist office.
Does someone know the name of those beautiful flowers?

Certainly is a very pretty flower but I don't know the name of it. Enjoy your trip to Milan and wishing your mom a very happy Mothers Day

I believe that is a Clematis, one of my favorites. I hope the dental appointment goes well for you, @LadyDuck.

Thank you so much James, I immediately checked and you are right, it is a Clemantis, those flowers are beautiful. The dental appointment was only for the annual cleaning, everything is fine and I am very glad because the dentists are so expensive.

@LadyDuck good for her! Hope she is able to see more time. It's nice that you go see her often. My grandmother is 88 and I try to go see her as often as I can. I like to spend as much time with her as possible, as I know one day I won't be able to.

No idea on the flower but you're right it is quite pretty. I'd have called it purple, but blue works too. It's sort of the color of my van, it looks different on different days.
I'll be working windows more, so won't be around quite so much as I was before, although we're getting hit with rain right now so the job we had for today is postponed for tomorrow instead.

@LadyDuck Hopefully by now you're back to normal? I think I am too. We sell clematis here but I've never had them in my garden, so didn't really know. Someone else posted a white flower with a similar vein down the middle that I thought looked like this one. I don't remember if that was Robb or someone else, burt I mentioned you flower to them too. I typed the flower as you had it and my spell check didn't like it. Not sure if it has a different spelling in different locations or not.

He was plainly put a thief when i called for an appointment, the secretary informed me that new clients have to deposit 300 before the dentist could see them so i did.
After my consultation, i asked for change and was informed they will calculate then send me a cheque which never came, after about 2 months when i called to ask when my money will be coming, they informed me there was no change.
Thought i`d go there and fight them physically, i was so mad.

The flower is really beautiful, ti is so big and with vivid colors. We had a very nice lunch at a restaurant not far from Mom's apartment. We had already walked a lot in the morning, doing some shopping together and I did not want to stress her with an additional long walk, she is 95 after all.

@garymarsh6 I hope too, when they "refurbish", most of the time the food and the quality is not the same.

@LadyDuck OH what a shame. I hope that they do not change their standard of cooking while it is being done up! Glad you got back safely!

@LadyDuck When Mama was still alive, I'm happy just seeing her around the house, even if we do not talk much.
Then, due to cardiac arrest (her 1st), I lost her. How I wished I talked with her more. I know she had a lot of stories to tell. Now, all I have is guilt for not spending more time with her.
