Princess is Aggravated

We bring Princess in before dark. If she had her way she would stay outside until midnight or later. I am not willing to stay up for that. We really do not want her to tangle with wildlife, or feral cats. My nose is being assaulted by an offended skunk at this time. I am glad she is inside, even if she is driving me crazy.

Sounds like you may have gotten her inside in the nick of time!

@GardenGerty Well, she has good intentions! lol But getting a skunk mad would make her feel very badly about herself, I think! lol

I find that Princess wants to keep strangers off of her property She wants to keep an eye on things. I wish she wasdoor only but she is too old to re train.

My daughter makes sure the cats(three of them) are in before she goes to bed. The younger one stays out sometimes and won't come when she calls him. This makes her very nervous. They drive us crazy sometimes but we love them. That is a beautiful cat, Princess.

There's a skunk out there, it is probably safer for your nose that she'll be inside as well, or she might run into it

My kitty's thankfully dont want nothing to do with going outside. My siamense cat peaches will see something in one of the windows from time to time and go nuts for a few minutes, lol she''s run up the cat tree to try an get a closer few then to the very top if she thinks whatever it is thats out there is coming for her,lol

My first cat never wanted to be outside, especially after we moved. Princess was found outdoors and although she got lost while we were trying to move, it was not long til she was wanting out again at our new house. I can just imagine your cat going up that cat tree.

Princess sounds like a bratty child:"No, I wanted to go outside late tonight! Why'd ya have to keep me inside mom?" Of course my dog's no better, as he lodges protests every time I come near him. I'm the last person he wants to walk him since he sees me most of the day.

Oh gosh a skunk smells terribly. I think that you cannot retrain Princess to be an outside cat.

I wish I could force my will on our Saia kitty. At least I mostly get our Beau Teak in. I love the photo.

For that very reason we walk with Doodles outside - 5 times a day or more! Each time is a minimum of 30 - 60 minutes. Ugh! Princess looks so much like Doodles. Adorable!

The 82 years old man I took good care of twice a week has a cat. It was so smelly for me to go inside the house everytime I came.
