Have you set your totally arbitrary MyLot earnings goal for June?

I admit it--I've set a goal for June. I have two days left to achieve it, and it's going to be close. Of course it makes no difference whatsoever in my life. I've already passed $5.00, and a raise at work today caught me by surprise. But it's still fun to have a goal, kind of like wanting to leave Reno up $10 on the poker machines.

Yes, I do have a goal. I am already past what I made in May, but I hope to make more than that.

No, I set no goals here
The only thing I hope for is some nice discussions to respond to and today I got a couple

@Mike197602 "is" is actually correct in this context because it is the only "thing" singular that you hope for. No I am not a grammar nazi, just thought I would help.

@Mike197602 Good question! I think "is" is correct because the "is/are" refers to your singular wish, not your plural discussions.

I'm just thinking should it be 'is some nice discussions' or 'are some nice discussions'...my grammar is not good

I don't really set a goal. As long as I make at least what I made the month before, I'm good.

So what is your goal for June then? I have no goal. I was hoping to get to $10 but I am only at $9.64 right now. My earnings are doing well lately so I am happy with that. I wish we could have our earnings withheld if we want to wait for a higher payout amount.

Congrats on the raise! I doubled the minimum requirement. Normally would be around $13 but slacked off this time! All well heh!

You got a raise? Fabulous. October first is when my pension adds this year's COLA. Unlike Social Security, we get a 2% increase each year. It won't keep up with inflation, of course, but it's better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

@TheHorse Congrats! Since the economy is doing better, people should be getting raises!

Setting the goal is easy. My problem is that I don't achieve it. But every month I set the goal anyway.
