For some mysterious reason, I was unable to log on to MyLot this past weekend. I have no idea whether it was a MyLot glitch, whether I was doing something wrong at this end, or whether it was just an act of God.
Anyway, I was able to log on this morning, so here I am. My son, The Talking Mule, opened an account yesterday (to let Alex know that something was amiss), and proceeded to brag abut his obscene musical tastes, tattoos, and other juvenile eccentricities, and to offend several of my MyLot friends with his harsh words toward people of my generation. My apologies.
He has been banished to his stall, and will not be heard from again. The strange thing is that in my efforts to get my account working, I did a rain dance on Saturday, and today it's raining here. My thanks to @vandana7, @Owlwings, @JolietJake and all of the others who stayed in touch with me and who spent their own time contacting Alex and trying to help me figure this thing out.

Isn't that a jade plant? There was a Microsoft update that seems to have caused some problems for several members. One thing they had was an inability to sign in here. Glad you got it figured out.

I'm so glad you are neighing again. I am a little disappointed that I missed the... well, I was going to say jack... I guess you know what I mean. I'm sorry I missed the donkey and I hate to hear this happened to you. Glad you are back up and running.

Yes, I logged in and out a couple of times. I could probably still log in as my son as well. Hopefully that account will quietly disappear (I had fun with it). But will the comments I...ahem...he made on others' posts remain? I kind of hope so, actually.

@vandana7 That's cool. This site sure is different from "the site that won't be named," isn't it? There, I would have been petrified that I'd somehow "done the wrong thing" and would never be paid again, or even deleted forever.

@divalounger They say if we don't get more tonight, then that's it, as it will be clear again tomorrow. Do you grow snow peas? I think they'd love Alameda in Winter.
