A Hard Day Outside

I do find days away from home to be exhausting. I called in sick today and will soon go back to bed. I have put a casserole in the crock pot for a hot and tasty supper. I am brewing some garlic broth as suggested in my herbal class to use in making other soups. We need to turn the heat on here as we have not done so yet.

Yes, IKEA can be exhausting. There is so much to look at, things you 'may' use in your household but don't actually need. You must have a strong character to get out of the store without buying things you can well live without.

It has been an average day, but certainly a very cold one. We had a massive period of heavy hailstone earlier.

So how's your eye check up ? Why is it an exhausting experience to be in that Ikea store , my friend ?

i hope that'cha eye appointment well well, ms. anna. i aint ne'er been to one'f those stores (aint none'n these parts), but've heard they're huge 'n ones gotta do lots 'f walkin' to find what they need. a chilly day here, though better'n yesterday. i've been out a few times'n the back yard, wishin' to make't out to the horses. perhaps tomorrow? danged gut... outside 'f 'that' though, 'tis been pleasant. Yes, Ikea is exhausting and confusing. I rarely go there. As you know, I was thinking about the elusiveness of world peace. Have a good one!

I love cold weather. Anyways, my day today is productive.

so far it has been a good day, I am just about caught up here and then need to shower and start doing adult things like cleaning and small errands

I love stopping at Ikea when I get the chance, its not near by so its a treat when I happen to be in the area. I'm having trouble staying on Facebook with my friends because there is so much ate there right now. I can't read any more crap, I hope it stops soon.

I love a wander through Ikea but wouldn't want to do it too often. Hot chocolate sounds nice. It has turned cold here again.

Our weather is rather pleasant right now, a few degrees C, and some snow. In the morning I will go and check my blood sugar and see what can be done .. I am trying to eat the right kind of food to keep it down..

Today its been an overactive day and I kind of wanted to settle my cupboard and my room so everything was out and before I knew my little brats were here, so its such a mess..I wish I could do some magic like that A spoon full of sugar song..Mary Poppins..lol

I'm glad you were able to get what you needed from Ikea. Our weather has been going back and forth; I should just check the weather before going out tomorrow lol.

I had a very productive day yesterday! My girlfriend and I got up early and went on a nature hike, and saw some amazing wildlife, including a herd of bison and a herd of wild horses! We also visited a local winery, and then went to a college football game. Last night, we built a big bonfire and had a cookout on the grill for my daughter's birthday. Her birthday was two weeks ago, but this weekend was the first weekend we could get everyone in the family together for a big celebration.

It was very warm here in California today, but I hope it cools off a little, soon.
