Our First Snow

What a wonderful surprise to wake up this morning and find the ground all covered with snow! It's official now...we've had our first snow of the winter.
Thankfully it's less than an inch but enough to look pretty. The roads are just wet so this little bit of white stuff won't hinder anyone who has to go out.
This is the kind of snow I like. Nothing to shovel and it isn't slippery. Of course it isn't enough to have a snowball fight or build a snowman but for the first snow...IT'S PERFECT

Once the sun came out this afternoon the snow melted so now it's like it was never here at all

Friends of ours are in the Poconos and they got two inches. Any white stuff is more than I want to see LOL.

My daughter lives in the Poconos and they always get more snow than I do as they are higher into the mountains. I'm happy with our mere coating

Your so lucky to have some snow, I hope you enjoy seeing the pretty white stuff! I wish we would get some here but I know that's not likely. Lol
