Writing with blurry eyes this morning

It was time for my annual eye exam with my Ophthalmologist today. It has been seven years since I had cataract surgery on both of blue eyes and things still look good, In fact, the doc said with a straight face that my eye muscles and tissue look like those of a 25 year old. I use non-prescription reading glasses for really fine print, but need glasses for nothing else. I realize how fortunate I am to have such good overall health at this age. I hope I can play ping pong alright in an hour. Now, if I had the hair of a 25 year old, I would feel even better.

That is great. I have had glasses since grade school. However now when I need to see fine print or do some specific work I have to take my glasses off to see it so it doesn't blur and when I read a book I read without glasses

That is quite interesting and the reverse of most of us, I think.

There is always something that lets us down isn't there? Being able to see well is good though. Pity about the hair. :)

I hope you got to play ping pong. What would the hair of a 25 year old entail. I have a cataract in my left eye. Some days my vision is blurry all day. Other days it isn't a problem at all. It am curious to see how my eye has deteriorated when I see the eye doctor this spring.

@JamesHxstatic .....Oh, yes. I wasn't thinking. Hair on the top of the head is nice in the winter too. I have heard from several people that the surgery is not a problem. Even those who were highly nervous beforehand.

@celticeagle I was a little nervous on the first one but the second was not bad at all.

The hair of a 25 year old would entail some hair on top of my head. I highly recommend the surgery.

@JamesHxstatic - It can be at times, but at least it's correctable.

I would prefer the knees of a 25 year old person although I am seriously thinking about buying a wig.

You are lucky, I only use glasses for fine print and to read the texts on my monitor, for the rest I am fine, but I have a problem, glaucoma. It's not too serious, but I have to keep it monitored.

That's really good that you have the eyes of a 25 yr old. I wish I had knees of a 25 yr old. Hope you were able to get on your game of ping pong

I played pretty well today really. There were only six who showed up and we play doubles, so I played a lot in two hours.
