Trump tweets Obama released '122 vicious prisoners' from Gitmo...truth says Obama released 9, Bush released 113...

TrumpTweets™ are widely known for their errors and outright lies. But does DonT remove them when called on it? Nope. Because to admit he was an idiot would be contrary to how smart he thinks he is. Plus, if he can make others think it is true, he scores 'points' with them. And true to form, Republicans line up for miles to say what a GREAT JOB Donny is doing 'exposing' things Obama did. I am truthfully embarrassed for the U.S.A.
A reporter was quick to correct Trump on Tuesday when he said 122 Guantanamo Bay prisoners who have since re-engaged were released during Obama's tenure.

I am beginning to wonder if Trump is a fan of the Big Lie - tell lies so outrageous people think they must be true because surely no-one would make them up (okay, the not very nice person who came up with the concept of the Big Lie was blaming others for using it).

@JolietJake The latter; people who think a policy is right and something is true based on who it originates from, rather than judging it impartially (and there are increasing numbers of people like that on both sides unfortunately) are far more dangerous - because they elect idiots like this.

America is not bringing out their best. They are bringing out cons liars and cheats. All in the hopes that some will get rich off of this lawlessness. I am not sure why else this country would allow this to happen.

After some serious trump watching I'd say, in my humble opinion, that a psychiatrist may be able to diagnose him with narcissistic personality disorder. Not a joke that's what I think. If you look it up in serious medical journals he matches up with a lot of the criteria for that diagnosis same as tony blair does. Even if people do a very basic search on NPD they'll see immediate similarities with trump. I'd say quite a few politicians have personality disorders.

I read about it, and I do see exactly what you are saying. It does explain quite a lot about his behavior.

I didn't vote for Trump, however I will respect the office even if he doesn't. I think tweeting is unbecoming the Office of the President of the United States, I wish he would stop this ridiculous behavior.

@JolietJake I respect the President, doesn't mean I like him or his policies.

What does 'respecting the office' actually mean though? Does that mean automatic respect for whomever is in it?

He sure is being vicious toward Obama now. I heard a long list of the positive things Obama did soon after Trump took office and it was extensive. Trump Tweets are idiotic and bizarre.

I heard on the news yesterday that he is actually losing support of some Republicans, who are coming out publicly to refute things he has been saying, such as that Obama bugged his phone. These Republicans are saying there is absolutely no evidence of this, and Trump really needs to get his facts straight and stop all the ... I forgot the words they used but basically that he needs to stop being a "Drama King".

@JolietJake I am not sure whether or not he actually believes it, but I agree with you. I also think it is a serious problem that so many other people are actually believing what he is saying.

@purplealabaster There's been a serious problem for quite some time now with all 'sides' automatically believing anything spoken against the 'other' without bothering to check whether or not it is true

Remember when Giuliani talked in "a noun, a verb, and 9/11?" Is Trump's thing, "a lie, a tweet, and Obama?"

@JolietJake People are seeing what they want to see ignoring other ideas. Truthfully, they don't care as long as what they want is fulfilled by any means necessary. That is how things are rolling nowadays.
