The 15th of the month doesn't have anything to do with earning money here

I see this mentioned here quite often by people.
They talk about needing to earn enough by the 15th to get paid here.
The 15th does not have anything at all to do with earning money here.
The pay period for myLot runs from the 1st day of the month to the last day of the month.
To get paid, you have to have earned the minimum amount by midnight the last day of the previous month.
The myLot payday is "on or before the 15th"
Often myLot has paid on the second day of the month, or the 4th, or the 10th, or any day between the first and the 15th.
Since they can conceivably pay on the 1st, how would earning money by the 15th have any effect on you getting paid?
When thinking about earning here, the 15th has nothing to do with anything.
Of course, as usual, the people that really need to know this will probably ignore this discussion...but at least I try.

I just need enough money to pay off my bridge loan. And my Mastercard that I used to pay for my fixed bridge (in my mouth). And my mortgage. Think I'll get it by the 15th?

I think some people just set the 15th, the month midpoint, as just a goal date to get the minimum.

Some may, but I've seen several mentions lately from people hoping to reach $5 by the 15th so they can be paid...talking about getting paid as of this month for it

That has been talked about here long time ago. If you are here to earn, this is not the place for you. Mylot is not really a money earning site. This is a social networking site and we are just being paid for our participation. Only enjoy and have fun, and do not bother about the earnings cause that will follow.

I've read about this 15th sched too, months ago. It just did not sink in. Maybe because I am seldom here. But at least I have dear simplyme to remind me to come back & read a noteworthy discussion. My thanks to you @m_audrey6788 ! Yehey!

I could see having the 15th as your "goal" for earning, as in "I will try to earn the minimum amount by the 15th, and then everything else for the rest of the month is gravy". But again, that has nothing to do with MyLot's schedule or how things are done on here.

The 15th (or anytime before the 15th) can be a pay DATE but it does not have anything to do with earnings.
