And truthfully, you know why this happened?
Because a bunch of people got butthurt and started suing everyone about everything.
It isn't about 'equality'.
It is about "I don't care about everyone else, I wanna do it THIS way".
Buncha fargin' whiners.
You wanna do it right?
Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts/Scouts.
Three organizations.
Ladies Room/Mens Room/Everyone Else.
Three bathrooms.
Some stuff really just needs left alone...because you aren't making it about your rights...you are taking away the rights of others instead.

I totally back everything you just said. It's alarming although I know millions disagree. Common sense is gone, and political correctness reigns. And we have very few people in power willing to stop it. At least it seems that way. People are afraid of being labeled as anti anything.

I can see it now...Tommy can't play an instrument and can't read music anyway. but sues because he wants to be the 1st chair flutist in the school band...and wins...

@JolietJake Exactly. I am very concerned about the law in California that threatens arrest for using the wrong pronouns for people who are transgender. The governor can say prison time is just a harmless threat, but since it is an actual law...that is not harmless!

Since Boy Scout leaders have typically been male (since it was a male-oriented thing) I guess now they'll have to hire females to co-lead or something...and another can of worms opens...

And you if dare it is wrong you are labeled a homophobe or crazy. Just ask Curt Schilling what happened when he pointed out the bathroom law of allowing people of both genders is a recipe for trouble. ESPN canned him.

I totally agree, and if there are trans genders feeling left out, have Trans Gender Scouts... Leave things be as God originally ordained them for those of us feeling uncomfortable.

I like the idea of three different scout groups. Boys. Girls, Boys and Girls. Incorporate some things from the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts into a separate group for Boys and Girls to learn together. The way it is going now, they might as well allow boys into Girl Scouts, too.

I think discrimination is wrong, but I think having the Boy Scouts for boys alone isn't discriminating against girls...but I guess someone out there does

It's beyond ridiculous. I have witnessed on multiple occasions men (not trans women, at least not presenting as female) strut into the ladies' room and when anyone says anything they get confrontational and say it is their right to use the women's bathroom. It is a recipe for disaster.
I don't know why any girl would want to join the Boy Scouts. When I was a kid, I hated when anything was co-ed. If I could have gone to an all-girl school, I would have. Although it's not surprising; the "progressives" are hell-bent on stripping away our genders.

I saw this earlier and I still don't know whether to laugh or cry. You'd think we would get used to it, but I am stunned almost daily at the idiocy that our nation has fallen in to. I want to blame it on something, but what? I can come up with a list, but nothing to really hang it all on.
When I think about those young kids, both boys and girls, I guess I will cry. They may never have a chance to live in a normal world.

I went to the ladies restroom in a department store and saw the door to a stall opening. I was about to go in when I saw a man come out of there. When he saw me, he looked like nothing was wrong. Like it was fine for him to be in the ladies room. And he was straight. That freaked me out a bit.
