He's Not in It, So There

My husband didn't want me to take any photos, especially of him, so I gave him my iPhone and asked if he'd mind taking a photo of my brother and me. That was just what he wanted to hear.
It's become a tradition to take "first day in Florida" photos of friends and family.
My brother flew down yesterday for one week to open his condo and receive shipment of one of his cars. We picked him up at the airport and invited him to our place for cocktails and dinner.
I swear we see him and his wife more in Florida than we do in Connecticut.
Do you see family often?

So, your husband would rather be the photographer rather than in the photograph.

@DianneN - We see our spread out family as often as possible. In fact, about 90% of our travel these days involves seeing our family ... either our kids or our siblings. Family is very precious and, as we age, we never know how much longer our siblings and older family members are going to live.

Glad you spent time together, cute picture. =)
We don't see family often since we live far from each other and everyone has so many life expenses, traveling just isn't one that we can afford.

@DianneN Bahaha yeah I tell you like my husband mom can come here and she works, but none of them can raise a hand to come see me. Like my mom would say well she has money so she can do that but I am like you can save up I mean I have been here for like six years now.

Did not know you had a brother. That is a nice photo. Don't you have anything better to do than just have dinners and cocktails in Florida

Very nice picture, glad your husband took it for you.
I see the only 'family' we count.

I see my parents a lot :-) I'm thankful. No extended family though.
Hi Dianne's brother!
