Looking through Pixabay (I love this site) images I found an idea for dinner. Believe it or not, this image looked so good to me I decided to copy the idea for dinner. So tonight will be a pork chop and a medley of veggies. I will bake to pork chop and make a stir fry of a mish mosh of vegetables. It will be great. The rest of my day will be involved with a bit of cleaning and straightening up. We will be having Christmas dinner here at our house. Of course I will be here off and on, as much as I can. I will also be taking little breaks and reading Right now I am at the beginning of "Blind Side" by Catherine Coulter. It looks like it will be a good book. What is on your agenda for today?

That is an inviting photo. I'm going to head out into the crunchy snow and feed hens then walk the driveway to get the mail that I didn't get yesterday. Quiet and a bit meditative but fine. Enjoy your day!

I went out this morning for some grocery shopping and planned the lunch and dinner for Christmas Eve and Christmas. Now it's already 5:30 PM here, almost time to plan the dinner.

@YrNemo Our insurance for our home is quite expensive. We have had it for over 20 years are have never had a claim. I wonder what would happen if we did. I know someone who's insurance wasn't renewed after a claim.

@HazySue Things almost sorted themselves out with a bit of nudging from me... Just one more urgent bill to pay (an insurance policy with a new insurer, let hope no tragic event happens to my place since this insurer is a bit sticky, like 99.9% of others out there! The best & most reliable one (my current one) happens to charge 5 times more, as in US$ 2000 for premium.)

Well, it is actually Christmas now while I am responding. We celebrated at my BIL last night with a nice Family get together and dinner. Today just relaxing and depending on the Snow, we might go get something to eat somewhere.

My day pretty much is similar to yours....tidying up, finishing up the cookie baking, and figuring out what to have for dinner. I love pork chops but we don't have any on had. My refrigerator is stocked with all the food for Christmas
