This morning as I was going through yet another box of stuff I came across the photo I used for this post. Boy does it bring back memories. The photo is of my ex-sister-in-law, myself, and my oldest and only daughter at the time. It was the day of her wedding, I was her Matron of Honor and my daughter was her flower girl. As I sat and looked at the picture, memories flooding my mind, tears filled my eyes. The bride in the photo died recently and it was startling to see her as she was. She is sorely missed. My daughter is the one who had the miracle baby this past June. We feel truly blessed by that event. Well, it's time for me to get back to work. Here's hoping everyone has a positively marvelous day.

I am very sorry she passed away, I suppose she was still very young.

She was 66 years old when she passed. It was sudden and unexpected.

Tangible pictures you can hold in your hand seem to be even more poignant that the ones we have saved on the computer. I am glad you have this.

So am I. I don't know why but I also feel that a picture on the wall or in an album is better than on the computer.

How sad, such memories. But to have them is to have this person live again for us for a short time.

Memories like that trigger emotions we aren't always prepared for but now you have a chance to share it with your daughter .... and her kids, I'm sure they'd love to see this.

They do love seeing pictures of days gone by. The daughter in the picture installed this one as a screen saver on her computer.

I always love going back through old photo albums and reminiscing over each of the photos. It's amazing how looking at one photo that captures one point in time in the past can trigger entire memories of the events surrounding that picture! Sometimes when I look at a photo I can remember vivid details like what song was playing on the radio, what the weather was like, how I was feeling, etc. So nice that our minds can pull back up those memories from simply looking at a photo!
