Money made in the month of February does not make you eligible for payment in February

Many people don't understand the cut-off date to get paid. I've seen a few users this morning hoping they earn enough before the 15th to get paid this month.
The cut-off date to receive payment is the last day of the previous month.
To get paid in February the cut-off date was January 31st.
Any money earned on any day in February does not become eligible for payment until March.
The cut-off day for payments is always the last day of the previous month because we can get paid any day from the 1st to the 15th.
In terms of earnings, the 15th has no significance at all.

@Lignitecityabishek96 you've got to spend time here getting people to interact with your posts if, like me, you're not here much there's nothing for other members to interact with so you get no money

Funny you mentioned this, I just noticed the green dollar signs are up, but nothing has been paid out yet.
It does make me laugh when people get confused about how the payment system works here.

@JolietJake I think I remember this happening last month or the month before as well. Hmm.

@thislittlepennyearns I've seen it happen on the 1st and on the 2nd before, usually it is around the 10th or later but last month was on the 8th.

And we all explain this over and over again. At work there is this chart. It shows the last day of the pay period, and then the expected date of pay. I am sure most places do this. How is it so hard for people to figure out the same thing here?

February being a shorter month makes getting paid out for it in March slightly more challenging too

It would take about 18 cents per day ($0.1786 roughly) to do it.

@JolietJake Just 18 cents a day? Oh, that's definitely doable.

The problem is no one reads the guidelines or we would see a lot of things we see on here lol

That or they read every other word and apply their own definition to what it said

This really isn't a hard concept, I don't know why so many people struggle with it.

They get fixated on that 15th for some weird reason

@spiderdust Yes, but we also get paid on the 8th, or the 9th...or the 1st...so you think they would realize they wouldn't have until the 15th to earn to get paid that month.

@JolietJake They know people get paid on the 15th, but they just can't retain the fact that people get paid a few days/weeks after the cutoff.

I don't get why they make this mistake. It's pretty clear that you have to reach payout by the end of the previous month to get paid the following month. It's not rocket science.
