It is my late father’s dog’s birthday today. ‘Putot’ turned 8 years old. It has been a long time that I haven’t shared any photos of her. I wish that she will live longer than my golden retriever. Aside from Rose who had her kittens in the house, ‘Putot’ had been loyal to the family and continue to protect the house from strangers. You might wonder “Why her name is Putot?” The word ‘Putot’ means short in English. Physically, she doesn’t have a long tail as compared to the other dogs.

I like the scene of it. Honestly, I haven't tried to have a big party for a dog. 'Putot' got a big meal on her birthday.
It would be fun if I am going to invite the dog owners and their pets. Thinking that I need to have a budget for that party. It would cost me a lot of money for that. Whew!

I have not particularly celebrated any birthday of our pets but do remember the dates.
Wish Putot for me.

I hope she will live a lot longer. My Golden Retriever lived 11 years which is considered a normal life span for the breed but my mixed breeds, all large dogs, lived between 13 and 15 years. Mom had small dogs, both mixes, that lived 16 and 17 years.
Putot is a beauty.
Actually I don't celebrate any birthdays, I always seem to forget but we do celebrate waking up alive

When I was young my family and I celebrated our dog's 10th birthday. We put a party hat on his head and sang happy birthday to him with a cup cake.
