The crocus heard me complain

Two days ago I was whining because there were no crocus blooming in the year.
Today, that changed as the first one showed itself. (The second one did as well, but the bloom hasn't opened yet)
But I have this nice yellow one trying to brighten up the yard.
Sometimes it's the small things in life...

What a lovely spot of color! Surely the grass will green up soon.

I love flowers even though I have no idea what their varieties or names are. I just appreciate them. Seeing flowers always gives me joy.

I have these in yellow, purple, and white scattered in the yard, they are always the first to bloom.

@JolietJake I'd love to see all those lovely colours together. If you put them in a vase would they last long?

@toniganzon The stems are only an inch or two long, you can't really put them in a vase

When I lived in Hamilton, there was a yard across the street that always had the earliest snowdrops and crocuses. I wonder if they're out or still hiding under snow. I saw some stuff peeping up during the last thaw, but I didn't check today. Not sure if I have any here.

Makes me almost want to get outside and see if I see any. Almost.

Crocus croaking is a whole lot better, than having crickets chirping, that's for sure:( By the way, your photo is beautiful! Thanks, for sharing it
