Eating a double bacon-cheeseburger is not a 'crime' where I live

I can't seem to find any law stating it is illegal, therefore I am not committing a 'crime'.
Regardless of what some militant veg-heads seem to think.
Some people seem to live in a fantasy world created in their own minds.
If you don't eat meat, that is fine...more bacon for me.
But I am neither a murderer nor a criminal.

For 3 years I'm not causing any pain to any poor animals, thanks God. How can people ask me to 'Respect what they eat' while it's actually a crime? And it's not...

As a farmer, I'm prepared to respect everyone's choices in whether or not they choose to eat meat. I also wish the vegans would appreciate and respect the fact that not everyone is vegan.
Animals on the farm are treated well. They are bred for one purpose. When the animal rights people get on their high horse they make things more difficult for the farmer and the animals they claim to protect.

I'm an omnivore and I do eat meat but I see no reason for food kritters to be treated cruelly. What I don't get is why they don't just decommercialize raising livestock and let those who enjoy hunting go out and hunt then bring back what they kill to be sold in the markets. Maybe if we'd do it that way there would be less food wasted.

@JolietJake my husband is clearly a serial killer by their standards. (He has euthanized many sick chickens over the years). Maybe they want to see these creatures suffer?

If they want to say they think it should be a crime, that's fine, but I'm sick of seeing people called criminals and murderers over it

Read that but don't seem to understand exactly what he meant.
I'm no vegetarian but I don't eat pork and it ry to avoid beef. I love lamb chops though and I can't seem to live normally without eating lamb chops at least once a week.

I'm sorry... Your clip there didn't interest me but there were other clips down the right hand side and off I went watching Whose Line is It, Anyway?, and after that Tim Conway being interviewed by Johnny Carson... I would have peed my pants but I'm not wearing any.
Uh... what is this discussion about now? I've forgotten.

You can't buy a bacon double cheeseburger in Israel. Not because "meat is murder" (as the Smiths sang), but because it's not kosher.
I have several meat allergies (including pork and seafood). That leaves more for you!!!

Some militant vegans are clearly fanatics. They want to "convert" the others, they think they are the only right, the other are criminals and killers. I respect animals, I do not want that they are killed causing sufferance, but I do not feel like a criminal if I eat chickens or any other kind of meat.

I might become a vegan if I had to live off the land, or a lacto ovarian vegetarian, I think. For now, I will eat my mighty licious chicken soup, and casseroles and meat loaf and you get the picture.

I feel sorry for the critters too @JolietJake but if we didn't eat them, the planet would be over-run by them and there'd be more of 'them' than 'us'. And who knows....maybe more of 'them' would become carnivores. Dang it....it's noon, time to get out the steak and make the mashed potatoes.

God made animals for the purpose of providing food for human beings. Since caveman days, people have been consuming meat, it's our main source of protein! I've eaten lots of cheeseburgers and have plans to eat many more, in the future. This doesn't mean I'm murdering cattle, that's crazy!

I can't be a vegan. I love bacon way too much, and steak, and fried chicken, and BBQ ribs, etc yum
